I had the pie and beef soup 🤤 Not many diners like this left, and I love diners. Quiet place with great service and prices. Good for a quick bite, meal with friends... and I even worked on my laptop for a bit. Definitely coming back.

Breakfast food is my comfort food, my hangover food, my I can eat it 24/7 food. We decided to go old school and drive until we found a place. We passed Flo's, almost went to LGO, but one look at The Soup Shoppe and it was a sign. Literally a red, weather-beaten, simple, Nostalgic sign. One look and I knew it was meant to be. The din of Sunday Breakfast and bustle of a busy kitchen called to me like a siren. The smiles were warm and welcoming. The decor like the kitchen of eponymous Grandmother I've always never had. Tables were filled. Boards with Daily specials dotted the walls. I was home. My wife rates the Chicken Fried Steak 8.5/10, @Clayton_elgourmet rates his pancakes as D-licious. And for the first time in over a decade, I ate a perfectly prepared corned beef hash. Thinly pressed, perfectly crisped outside with just enough moist corned beef with a touch of hashbrown squares. As a Chino at heart nothing slaps like soy sauce on eggs and they had it. What an absolute gem. I can't wait to learn the history of this wonderful restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering online. They will just cancel your order. They should just remove the option since they cannot accommodate it. I went here in person and just like everyone else said, the wait was long and they ignore you. You have to literally be on them to order anything. Not sure why the service is slow. They need a better system. Food was also bland but I wasn't feeling well so that was fine for me at the time. Store is cramped but cute setup. I can't say that I will be back though.

Food was nasty over cooked and heard for being a soup place the potatoe was gross iit had chunks of flower in it. The service wad so bad will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone.

I have been here at least 50 times and it is amazing. Food is awesome and well priced, service is amazing and wow they still serve real cream with your coffee. Today I was missing a hair tie, they noticed and found me one. I just can not say enough good things about this great little restaurant. It may be hard to get a seat sometimes because it is worth it.
