I recently visited Starbucks and ordered ahead through the mobile app, which I thought would streamline my experience. However, when I arrived, I was disappointed to find that my order hadn’t even begun preparation, despite having chosen the option for my drink to be ready upon arrival.
As I waited, I noticed several other customers’ names being called one after another while mine remained stagnant on the board. After about 15 frustrating minutes, I inquired about the status of my order. The staff informed me that the system sometimes skips names but assured me that they would check on it. Miraculously, the moment I voiced my concern, my order was suddenly prioritized, and I received my drink shortly after.
While I appreciate the quality of Starbucks beverages, the inconsistency with the mobile ordering system was frustrating. It would be beneficial for the store to improve its order management process to ensure that customers who place mobile orders aren’t left waiting while others are served. Overall, I hope my next visit is smoother, as I do enjoy their coffee!

Im from Murrieta and had a doc appointment here in Riverside, I was fasting so I had no caffeine or food and needed to get my protein in asap. I was assisted by Desiree and I immediately let her know I needed to make a protein shake with my espresso lol she was super sweet and added all the extra cups I needed to make my drink. Instead of treating me like I was annoying and being extra she was patient and kind to me. Tiffany who assisted with my drink was so sweet and reassured me it wasn’t a problem at all when I know I was being problematic about adding more to my order after I just ordered lol bottom line these ladies were the absolute sweetest girls and I just want to share my experience about these lovelies. Thank You for being patient with me 😊

I use to go 2-3 times a month in the last 2 yrs, I did a MOBILE ORDER for cinnamon dolce & ham & Swiss crossiant. My coffee was ready & i still was waiting for the crossiant & it was busy, so I waited 15 mins then I asked for it, then I waited Patiently till 43 mins I was annoyed by now & I told one of the employees & she said she would REFUND ME & NEVER DID. I wasn't rude at all. I should of waited to get proof or a receipt but I had to get to work at the Hospital up the street. I waited for 2 days & called left my name & # & then I waited another day & nobody reached out so I called again. STILL nobody reached out for my Refund & it's been 2 months. Really unprofessional. I usually like their service & the drinks I order are good & I tip all my orders. Never again did I go back
