First off, let me start with the service. Excellent customer service, our food was served pretty fast. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend and return ?Very clean restaurant.
The place is nice, the waitress was very friendly and attentive, the sushi was delicious, but I think it lacked more presentation... The only bad thing was that the place was empty when we arrived and it took them a long time to serve us almost 40 minutes... It's the only drawback!

There are definitely better sushi rolls out there and better restaurants too- this place is not bad just okay.Pros:- Located in downtown Riverside- Easy parking- Small menu- Clean restaurant- Good music and drinksCons:- Closed on Sundays and closes early- Not the highest quality of fish- A bit pricey for their rolls

This place is great, feels like they should have more business. The price is great, the food is great, service is great. No complaints here. They should definitely have some kind of social media presence since that is what people look at these days. But anyway, very happy with this place, I’m going to be a regular from now on.

Excellent sushi. As fresh as you would find at the best restaurants. Some Mexican flare as well, making it a unique experience. Very friendly service by the owner. The place also offers very nice, higher-end sake at a reasonable price.

Hands down the BEST sushi!! The flavors are one of a kind, the portions are generous & pricing is fair provided the high quality fish. I admit I’m a sushi snob and my only complaint is that they set a standard so high in flavor that other sushi spots just can’t compete for me! And if any of my friends want to go out to eat, I want Sumabiiiiiiii!!! You’ve been warned :)

I asked if they could make me a vegetarian friendly sushi roll, but the waitress said the sushi chef would be unable to begin making it until after 12:30 p.m. I saw other people leave for this same reason. The waitress was extremely forgetful and it was bad service all around.
Vegetarian options: You have to explicitly ask for a roll without fish, but they will charge full price.

A very bold menu. A business associate and I looked for a place nearby to grab some dinner and have an impromptu meeting. Google maps told us this place was near, and that the ratings were high.. When we first saw the menu we thought we had entered the wrong restaurant.... the menu did not describe the same dishes you would see in a typical sushi restaurant.... the base sushi was there. But with a twist..I don't want to drag this review out but I can tell you we were extremely impressed with the chef's take on the traditional sushi fare. We enjoyed every entree that we ordered.. The chef takes on normal sushi is to jazz it up a bit.... This is an unexpected change with a very enlightening result.... I applaud the chef for taking such a risk because the results are outstanding..... In this specific location the staff was especially nice and attentive. Thank you Carla... This will be on our regular rotation as long as the menu remains exciting and eclectic.... great restaurant

I do like their food concept and I want to like this place but I left feeling extremely disappointed with the customer service last week. We had a male server who completely ignored us except when asking to order and did not offer us to refill our drinks at all. Other than that, we were left alone and even missed part of my friend’s order. He seemed to be all over the place. It also took ages to even get our check when we were done.I get that restaurants are short staffed across in this type of industry but it’s not hard to acknowledge your customers or even communicate that you’re short staffed then I would have more empathy than how I left. Their sushi was good (the 951 is great) but given their customer service, there’s other better places nearby overall.Their marketing game is strong though. I will give them that as they’re all over Instagram and TikTok and that’s what got me to try this place out. Maybe they can put some of those marketing dollars to training staff on providing customer service or actually hiring more people.
