I suggest avoiding this place. I just had a work lunch at Sushi R91, and one of the guests had dietary restrictions. The server who took the order kept saying 'Sorry' without explaining why, but still accepted the order with the stated restrictions. Two people received their food quickly, while the person with restrictions received theirs significantly later, creating an awkward atmosphere during a work lunch.
After a long wait, another server came back with the usual 'Sorry,' finally explaining that they had not accommodated the restrictions but were willing to prepare the dish again. It’s unclear why they brought the food in the first place, and the situation felt offensive. The poor service and lack of communication were noted. While the restaurant voided the bill, my workplace would have gladly paid to avoid subjecting a seminar speaker to such an experience.

Great as always
I love this place, I don't live far from here, the atmosphere is very tranquil love food and drinks the "fountain of youth" is my fav drink and the "Philadelphia roll" is one of my fav as well and the staff are super nice!!❤️
Spent $70 to get no condiments or utensils. It’s at least common sense to have some type of sauce to go with 3 different sushi rolls and especially white rice. Who eats whiterice from a sushi restaurant plain. Also, I did indeed order shrimp tempura. Your manager kept telling us that I order the shrimp tempura roll so I’ll add screenshots of my Doordash order and what I received to corrobate that you are indeed wrong. So you telling me that I need to take it up with Doordash was the greatest lack of accountability. You guys can make excuses over the phone but here’s your one star so you know what customer dissatisfaction is and you also lost a customer. 👎

I love this location. I used to eat there before it became Sushi 91. Cool post modern ambiance. The sushi there is great. They use very high-quality salmon sashimi, which tastes very fresh and almost buttery smooth. The Philly roll is my favorite. It's a normal Philly roll, but with extra salmon on top.

The price here has increased, but so are the size of food. The sushi rolls are huge, and tasty.
I ordered tonkatsu, it's really good in terms of portions and texture of the noodles, but the broth was really bland/diluted (-1 on food)
We also ordered some salmon sashimi, it tastes really fresh and good, would highly recommend.
The service is great, the waiter comes and check if you're doing good often, and they recognize your raised hand almost immediately.
The atmosphere is great too, and there's a cool Mount Fuji drawing.

this is regarding takeout experience only. We made our takeout order at 5:12 PM. I know it was 5:12 because that’s what the receipt said. She said it will take 15 to 20 minutes. It is now 6:02 and I still don’t have the food. We ordered five items two appetizers three main courses. I do not understand why or how it takes this long to grab the food. I waited at the bar while I enjoyed a beer, but 15-20 minutes came and went and when I asked about the status of the food, she said it was almost coming. The restaurant was not even busy. They were plenty of open seats. I don’t understand how they survive. this was definitely a poor experience and I hope they do better. i will not be back.

sea weed salad was drenched in dressing. Sushi roll was also drenched in sauce . The restaurant was empty. I should have took that as a sign. I wouldn’t recommend this place . This was my first time here and sorry to say the last.

Came by on the weekend and they turned out to have 50% off draft beers. Their appetizers were great as well and I highly recommend the baked mussels.

This normally wonderful sushi place seems to be going downhill. It was 80 degrees in their restaurant. The service was some of the worst that I have ever had. He literally had to be reminded multiple times for the things we asked for, like napkins Wasabi and water. The sushi roll were sub-par and were not cut all the way through, so they were falling apart every time we tried to pick them up. I will maybe give them 1 more chance before I stop going.
