Stopped by this Mexican restaurant recently and it was an overall yummy experience. What stood out to me was that they make their own chips and tortillas, you can really taste the difference in the nachos and quesadillas. It gives the food an authentic touch, which I appreciated. We were looking for a restaurant and decided to try Con Madre. My wife and I are glad we did! We each had breakfast: me, Huevos Rancheros, and her, Huevos al Gusto (con jamon). Entrees were served on real plates and were very satisfying. Instead of toast, we asked for tortillas de maize—hechas a mano, thick and freshly made. The interior was recently redecorated and has an authentic Mexican feel. We enjoyed the heart, the flavors, and the service.
The best tacos this side of Riverside; mix that with a very clean and fun environment makes for an overall great experience. Karaoke on Friday nights are fun too!
