Great place for a girls night out. Great margaritas, good service, great vibe. We sat in a booth near the bar which was hopping but not too loud so you could actually have a conversation. There are multiple rooms in this large restaurant, and each room has a different vibe. Probably the prettiest room in the largest room that has a fireplace in the center. If I went back, I would want to sit there for a change, but you cannot order tacos in that room. Tacos were solid. Not as good as Guisados (sorry) but tasty and there were lots of options, including fish and vegetarian. The tacos were also probably the most affordable item on the menu. The churros were REALLY good. The chocolate empanadas sound better than they taste, but maybe I'm just not a chocolate empanada girl. Everyone who worked there was super nice and accommodating. The waitress gave us excellent recommendations. She could have checked in with us a bit more, but her friendly smile and great attitude made up for that. For a restaurant on Rodeo Drive, there was no attitude or pretension. I would definitely go back!
The front of house staff were really really bad. I have probably been to over 1000 restaurants in my life and it was the worst experience of my life. We waited 40mins to be seated. At the same time the waiter was great Louis was the best bartender I ever met in my life and food was very good.
Unfortunately, came on a busy Saturday afternoon, and no one came to take our order despite being there for 30 minutes. No one asked if we've been helped, no one came by to give water, nothing. We had to flag down a busy server who looked like he was in a hurry and he was kind enough to take our order. I could tell though he was VERY upset with the management and staff as he had a word with them right after he took our order. Not sure if they were short staffed, but I was anticipating much better from this place. I also made a reservation, and they said that their patio had a wait time, which I thought was weird. The food was mid, nothing special. I wouldn't come here again tbh.
The place was nice, hostess was nice and accommodating to the guests. Unfortunately, our server had dropped the ball on service. Forgotten our orders and drinks on occasions and played it off as if we did not order in the first place. We had waited on the orders then realized that the servers did not input it in the first place. He was friendly but for my birthday brunch I was sadly disappointed for only a group of 7 people and the restaurant was not busy.
Great cocktails and food. Contemporary Mexican with something for everyone. Fun, lively atmosphere, located on Rodeo. Highly recommend!
The Hideaway's Thanksgiving dinner is a delightful experience with generous portions that guarantee satisfaction. The food is delicious, but the standout feature is the super friendly staff, offering amazing service that makes you feel right at home. A perfect spot for a memorable holiday meal!
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving at The Hideaway. The food, as always, was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was attentive. I very much recommend The Hideaway!
We booked the margarita class experience for Thanksgiving Day and upon arrival was told that it was canceled. Then we were told it was a preset menu for Thanksgiving. I was upset then I quickly checked myself. I was thankful and blessed to be there. We ordered the Thanksgiving dinner and the filet mignon with lobster tail. The food was amazing. Chef's kiss. The mango margaritas were underwhelming. I would love to try the lamb chops so I will definitely be back. Thanks for providing me a tasty Thanksgiving Dinner. I even ate the cranberry sauce.
From the moment you walk in one is made to feel welcome. Staff amazing, food delicious. Design of restaurant is delightful
Everything about this place blew me away, location, ambiance, menu, service, food! Will def be back

For a restaurant that's on rodeo drive, I wasn't WOWED. The ambience was nice but neither the food nor the service was as good as I thought it would be. I ordered the taquitos, esquites, chorizo Mac and cheese, New York strip and filet mignon. The chips they give you at the beginning were good. My mocktail was good too. Notice how everything was just, “good.” Our waiter only came around after we were pretty much done eating. I had to save the last sip of my water because I knew if I finished it, I wouldn't have any water for a while. He also seemed to care more about the table next to us which was full of young women. Made us feel as if we weren't important. In Gen Z words, “it was mid.”
Both my wife and I were VERY surprised at the highest quality of the food, the service and the ambiance. OUTSTANDING restaurant, and the prices were very reasonable. I was so impressed that I left a 40% tip. Which is very unusual for me.
Ok experience, way too expensive tho. Service was not at the level of the pricepoint, even tho the server was nice enough, there was no attention to detail whatsoever. Food was decent, but nothing outstanding.
Asked 3 different people to turn on the heater, no when turned on the heater. Steak tasted horrible and the service seemed to be rushed.
Going for Emo Prom is so much fun! I juuuust wished they had a bigger pool of emo songs to pick from!
