My gosh dish after dish that came were uber salty last night.
From the chips to our taco, it was drenched in salt.
We had to tap the chip to get rid of the salt.
The fish taco too was overly salty. We asked to have it brought back to the kitchen.
We asked for the fish to be less salty. Server misheard and thought we asked for filling to be put ‘on the side’. So our taco came back with 1 fish wrapped around a tortilla. 🤣
I have to say, as bad the food was last night. The venue was quite spectacular.
It had that amazing vibe you’ll enjoy.

The food just wasn't that great and its quite expensive for Mexican food. Burrito was dry, the taco salad was okay but nothing to rave about.
The service is slow. We've gotten the same server multiple visits and our food always takes a long time to get to us. He also never checks in. The food the decent. It's really just the ambiance that's the most enjoyable. Won't be returning.
Always delicious food and good service. Beautiful outdoor seating which is a great space to have business or personal meals.
The atmosphere absolutely spectacular, but the food really wasn't good so be cautious of what you order. The drinks were good though. Another suggestion , you might want to reconsider Valle parking at $30 a pop
This was really a nice place. The complimentary chips and salsa were outstanding. The aracheta tacos were delicious as was the Mexican rice and the tortilla soup. But there’s one reason to come here: the flan. Do not leave without having it. It is literally the best flan I have ever had in my life. It was so flavorful and rich I almost couldn’t finish it! Hats off to Stephen our server who recommended it. Great place to dine.

We have been coming to Las Campanas for at least 15 years. I understand that costs have gone up during that time, but during this visit, it seemed as if the prices had increased substantially from the last time we were at Las Campanas. On a more positive note, our servers were great — attentive and very friendly, which somewhat mitigated the fact that dinner of enchiladas and tacos for my wife and me was $80 — about $100 with tip. Yikes!
Las Campanas at the Mission Inn is legit worth checking out mostly for the vibe – that outdoor patio is awesome, we went on a rainy day no dinning outside but we walked the patio under the rain and was amazing! Food is okay – decent Mexican, nothing mind-blowing. Service was good, and shoutout to our server Ivan who was friendly, on point, and made everything smoother. If you're in Riverside and want a spot with great atmosphere, maybe just drinks they have a full bar.
Dined at Las Campanas at the Mission Inn and was honestly disappointed. I’ll admit, I may have been a bit mesmerized by the Christmas lights and overall ambiance, which raised my expectations. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to it. The dishes were overly salty yet lacking real flavor, making them pretty forgettable. For the price point, I expected much better quality and execution. The setting is beautiful, but the food itself didn’t match the atmosphere or the cost. Sadly, not a place I’d return to for Mexican food.

Disappointing experience at Las Campanas. The food was overcooked and clearly low quality, especially for the prices being charged. The burrito I ordered was extremely salty and difficult to finish. For a restaurant located at the Mission Inn, I expected much better quality and execution. Unfortunately, the pricing is very inflated for what you actually get. I wouldn't recommend it based on this visit

The margaritas were not very good, and each one cost $22.00!!! Not good.

Went on my birthday again, 12-29-25. We were looking forward to our annual visit and sorry to say were very disappointed for two reasons this year.
1. Lack of the regularly beautiful ambiance. Felt like we were in some ones backyard low budget party.
2. The steaks we ordered were prepared incorrectly. When a change was requested for one of the steaks, not both, the replacement came back burned and not edible.
3. No effort to correct the second by either trying again or not charging for the meal was made!
For a dish that is highly over charged at $38.++ dollars each you think you would at least get the usually great ambiance!
4. Service by waiter was marginal at best, never asked my wife if she would like more water and only asked if I would like more coffee when we were about ready to go.
What a let down!

The ambiance is Wonderful esp at Christmas. Menu however is limited. Food is average.
Just went with my family via reservation on open table. Was quickly seated, greeted by friendly staff, immediately served chips and salsa and waters all around. Provided with excellent and attentive service throughout 1.5 hours there. Very tasty drink menu had the Paloma as well as an espresso martini. Enjoyed the ambiance and lighting during Festival of Lights ordered trio fajitas more than enough to feed two. Thoroughly enjoyed.
