Worst experience in such a beautiful setting. The restaurant and location were absolutely stunning. The service was trash!! From the hostess to our waiter. We literally had to wait 40 min for napkins. Our server Luis was not helpful at all.

Terrible service! Waiter was insensitive to the inedible and very undercooked meat. In addition, the waiter seemed not to care that the food was undercooked/almost raw. He made us wait knowing that we only had a total of an hour for lunch and we had been waiting for almost 45 minutes for the food. Almost ten minutes after, I asked him to bring a properly cooked and edible meat. He came back and said it would be another 30 minutes as I would have to wait for all of the other customer orders to be prepared and served before they could redo the meat. Meanwhile, the other person at my table was almost finished with their meal. I paid the bill and left without eating the main entrée.

It has been a few years since I last had a meal here. The ambiance and service is excellent still, based on a visit last weekend. We were seated right away without a reservation. The table service was top notch from everyone who waited on us. I ordered a taco salad with no meat. I was expecting a bigger salad with more black beans for protein. What I received was great quality, but was on the small side with very few black beans. Had I known that, I would have ponied up for some chicken to be added. Overall, it was a nice meal and experience. A solid four stars.

4/2024 closed for a roach infestation! ? Not surprised. The restaurants at Mission Inn are trash. Go look at the place and eat somewhere else. Whoever is in charge of food service must be lucky to not have to be a leader.

I went here mostly for the vibe and to catch up with friends on a nice, sunny day. The atmosphere of the inn and the gardens around the restaurant was nice and we definitely found it comfortable to relax and hangout. The service was also really good and the people were kind and attentive. If I had to rate it on that alone I'd say it's prob a good 4/5. But man the food was horrible. I had the carnitas tacos with rice and beans (~19 + tax). The rice and beans were dry and bland. The rice tasted like they sprinkled seasoning on it. I love carnitas so I ordered it but it ended up being very mediocre and dry. The tacos tasted plain and felt like they were just thrown into the microwave for a minute. In southern California we have unlimited access to good Mexican ingredients, there really isn't an excuse to have food this bland and poor tasting. I think this might be been some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had sadly. Overall, I don't recommend eating here from what I got. If anything, get a margarita, enjoy the free chips, and maybe split an appetizer (also ~20 each) with your friends. Don't expect anything great when it comes to food and don't come here for the food. I give it a 2/5 for the great service and nice ambiance but I probably will not be coming back unless their food quality changes.

My night at Las Campanas at the Historic Mission Inn was superb. Our server Katie was excellent, she catered to all of mine and my friends needs. The outside dining is so beautiful, drinks and our food came out in a timely manner. I'll definitely be coming back and hope to have Miss Katie again as my server.

The ambiance at Las Campanas is amazing! It's a little slice of heaven right in the middle of downtown Riverside. Although right next to one of the busiest streets in the city, you can not see or hear the street, and you can't even see or hear the bustle of the hotel. Sana was our waiter tonight, and his service was excellent! The dish recommendations that he made were spot on! We will definitely come here again!

The food was very delicious. We got the carne asada and shrimp enchiladas plus salmon tacos and the margaritas did not disappoint. Our server Sheila was authentically very nice and friendly. I recommend for a nice date or family outing.
