We made a reservation in advance and were given three seating options: patio, inside, or mezzanine. I chose inside because I did not realize there was a difference, and the main reason we chose this bar was for the Harry Potter themed mezzanine.

We were seated promptly, which I appreciated, but not in the Harry Potter section. I asked if we could move upstairs and was told it was full, but that if the 6:30 reservation did not show, we might be able to take that table. At that point, I did consider leaving since the theme was the reason we came.

Our waitress, Brooklyn, was wonderful and even double checked availability for us. She came back with the same information, so we decided to stay and have a drink since the menu was the same. Brooklyn was great at helping me choose a cocktail she thought I would like.

She also told us we could go upstairs to see the Harry Potter themed area. When we went up, it was mostly empty, which made it confusing why we could not be seated there.

We arrived a few minutes before our 6:00 pm reservation and left around 6:45 pm. It took about 15 minutes to receive our drinks after ordering, even though the bar was only moderately crowded. That said, I really enjoyed my Christmas in Cali cocktail, and my friend enjoyed their Long Island iced tea along with the happy hour tacos.

Overall, Brooklyn provided excellent service and the drinks themselves were enjoyable. The seating situation was the biggest disappointment, and clearer explanation of the reservation options would really help set expectations for guests coming specifically for the themed experience.

We went when The Mission Christmas lights were displayed so it was crowded. The decor was festive and the holiday drinks were served great served in various Santa cups and shots served in miniature ornaments. The burgers were a good serving size and the chicken Alfredo pasta was really good. If we weren't enjoying the holiday drinks I would have been upset about how long it took for the food to arrive. I would definitely go again and dine indoors to experience The Lobby again.

Came here for an annual Gals-mas dinner! Made reservations 2 days in advance, we were all extremely excited to come here for the atmosphere, it was a rab bit underwhelming! They couldn't accommodate 9 of us inside, so we were sat outside. Which was no problem. There were no heaters to help keep warm. Our server, I believe her name was Zoe, or Zoa, she was amazing, she did her job very well! However when it came to our food, half of us did not get served. The kitchen was backed up, so our food was brought out one at time, some of us girls didn't even receive our meal at all. They were discounted and apologizes were said for the inconvenience, not management, but our server Zoa or Zoe, sorry for messing up your name girl! Needless to say the drinks were amazing the appetizers, like the cauliflower and twisted fries were amazing! I got the mushroom ravioli, it was good but not great. I would like to experience it again but from the inside on a less busy night!

Festive Atmosphere. Hosted our Friendsmas here and it was a perfect setting. The decor was uplifting and incited the holiday spirit. The food and drinks were amazing. Recommend Fridas Flowers Cocktail, the crispy wings and mushroom ravioli. Our entire group had a blast! Shout out to Chris the bar manager for helping us capture our gift exchange on film. Got here at 5:15 for our 5pm reservation. Restaurant wasn’t really in full swing just yet as there were still several tables open and available. Set up was super cute. Ordered almost right away for some holiday drinks that we were excited to enjoy and some food that the server recommended. The server was nice and friendly. But after waiting till 5:50 and still not getting our drinks or food yet or having been checked on by our server, we decided to leave. One man did check on us towards the time we left but we were so over it, we decided to bar hop at other spots instead. There is a 90 minute hold for the tables they told us and made sure we realized before sitting down and then half our time was eaten away without being able to enjoy anything. Would like to try the place again. Might decide to in the future.

Yea this place is super cool quality drink they got corny bartenders especially this 35 year old was bragging about his house he has paid off with pretty backyard and his two dogs i was going to explore the menu more but decided to leave just hearing how loud like he wants everyone to hear I was enjoying my drinks till I couldn’t no more screaming he can afford multiple cars he got a corvette in his driveway get this guy alone destroyed everything

The Lobby is hands-down one of my favorite spots in DT Riverside. They always go all-out with their holiday decorations, and the place looks incredible no matter what season it is. Super cozy, classy vibe without feeling pretentious.

Their craft cocktails are legit, and I love that they also carry Happy Dad Hard Seltzer—always a win in my book. Drinks are consistently good, and the bartenders know what they’re doing.

What really makes The Lobby stand out is the atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, a more intimate hang, or just a mellow evening when you want something different from the usual club chaos everywhere else downtown. Low-key, stylish, and always a good time.

If you’re searching for a cocktail bar, romantic spot, or just a place with great drinks and great ambiance, The Lobby is it.
