The Sub Station has been my go to lunch spot for the past three years, and I’ve never once been disappointed. The staff are very friendly, especially the owner, Richard. I personally recommend the hot steak and cheese (be sure to ask for garlic butter and avocado). Thanks for all the great sandwiches guys, hopefully I find myself back in Riverside soon so I can eat here again.

I went during their posted hours after seeing signs for Sub Station near my house. Even looked up the menu online. They just had a note on the door saying they were closed all weekend long. Good management would update the website for a 3 day closure. Recommend not going out of your way to eat here.

This is a classic sandwich shop! Very pleased with size of sandwiches & many choices including good vegetarian. Staff was very friendly too- I accidentally dropped half my sandwich and they happily made a new one no charge. Definitely the spot for sandwiches in this area.
Dietary restrictions: I can see from their menu, you could eat vegetarian, keto, or gluten free.

The owner Richard was and is a dedicated unique individual with a passion for customer service and going above and beyond. The Big Dude sub is one of my favorites and love stopping by for lunch for the food and awesome outdoor custum patio for small work events!
Vegetarian options: Avocado cucumber cheese toasted sub!!!

Found this shop working. By far one of the best sandwiches I've had. Tastes homemade and fresh. Will definitely be returning when I'm in the area.

When to pick up my online order on Weds 3/27. The visit was less than desirable, as some college kids were goofing off and seemed to be "too busy" to greet me, especially the one guy with the dark black hair. It wasn't into I walked closer to the counter did someone ask if I had a order. All the items were placed on the side, and I was told "I put that in the comments". Some older gentlemen who I assume was the owner asked one of the staff if I were someone else, but did not greet nor thank me for my business. Very disappointed because I've heard great things about this place and wanted to try it for myself for the first time. My food looked and tasted mediocre at best. I will not be back.
