One of the best sandwich shops I've been to in the IE! Must be a staple in Riverside. Service was very kind and welcoming. I had a simple BLT but it was flourishing with flavor.

And then comes the French dip! So, this sandwich does not arrive loudly. It doesn’t need to. It rests there confidently, knowing exactly what it is. Tender roast beef, stacked with care, nestled into fresh bread that somehow manages to be sturdy and delicate at the same time. One dip into the au jus and the moment happens. The bite. The pause. The realization....This is not just a French dip. This is THE French dip.
Melt-in-your-mouth doesn’t quite do it justice. The beef gives way effortlessly, the flavors unfolding slowly, intentionally, like a story that knows it has your attention. The au jus is rich and comforting, the kind that makes you close your eyes for half a second because your brain needs to catch up.
Everything here tastes homemade. Truly homemade. You don’t just leave full. You leave calmer... Happier... Slightly convinced that lunch just fixed something that you didn’t realize was broken.

I had a bomb and fresh tuna sandwhich today and it was epic! The klady behind the counter was very nice and outgoing and gaver me a bunch of op[tions based on what I told her. Will totally go back and now I was a Pastrami

Tasty sandwich with a character of an owner!

This is a down to earth, old school sandwich shop in the heart of Riverside. It felt like I went back in time, small shop, super friendly service and food was great. Not sure how you totally nail an Italian sandwich, but it was really good, may blend they had in it made it better than most sandwiches I’ve had. Lots of choices for the side and I wouldn’t normally choose the chili but this time I did and it didn’t disappoint. Very flavorful and just the right amount in a side cup. If you are a sandwich guy like me and like to support non-chain and local business, this place is for you. If we had more places like this, the chain restaurants would go out of business.

Picked this place on a whim. Definitely recommend. The owner makes the pasta salad potatoe salad and coleslaw in house. If I could give more stars I would.

I visited this spot for the first time because it had good reviews but for the price and the size of the sandwich and my side was underwhelming but the main issue was my sandwich was mostly bread with very little turkey/cheese.

Great service. Wonderful small business vibe. Sandwiches were fresh and the woman working there addressed us by name same as her husband, and would recommend will be visiting again next time we’re in town 👍

Flippen delicious- chicken salad sandwich with drizzle & the works. Side of pasta salad. The chili side is also phenomenal during the winter months :).
