This is a down to earth, old school sandwich shop in the heart of Riverside. It felt like I went back in time, small shop, super friendly service and food was great. Not sure how you totally nail an Italian sandwich, but it was really good, may blend they had in it made it better than most sandwiches I’ve had. They serve solid sandwiches here! I ordered the tuna salad sandwich on squaw bread with the clam chowder soup. This was the first time I had seen squaw bread on a menu so I had to try it. The gentleman behind the counter recommended it for people who like whole wheat bread, and like it I did!
