The food was fantastic and the artwork that surrounded us was exciting to explore. It cost more than expected to eat here.

Very disappointed since everyone is so nice. The young guy playing cashier was also our food server and so our food must’ve sat for a long long time before being served. My garlic fish was soggy and my wife’s fish tacos were barely worth eating. We finished our chips and salsa and our flavored aguas before our meal even arrived. And this is showing up at 1030 when the place was just gearing up for lunch. The chips and great salsa unfortunately aren’t enough for us to return again. We started to go to Taco Street but the construction noise was too much.

Absolutely love it here, never a disappointment, the food is amazing & the drinks are refreshing! Make sure to order the chilaquiles (green sauce) or the wet carne asada burritos (red sauce) and enjoy!

Loved the atmosphere most of all ♡ I felt like I was dining in the middle of an art exhibit , so much to see. The food and fresh Agua Frescas were also delicious. Would absolutely return and recommend.

The service wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't terrible either. The food was good, but not great. That being said, you have to go there. The atmosphere is the most amazing that you will ever find. They have an impressive array of artwork.

Just so neat and different

Good beans and rice. The steak in the fajita was a bit over salted, but the fish tacos had a good crisp and the caritas were tender.

Good shrimp cocktails. Just seem a bit higher in price but maybe not. Didn't know they weren't open 24 hours anymore.

Our go to order is the Agua Fresca since you can make your own combinations! We like mixing the Coffee Horchata and Pumpkin Spice. The Cucumber Lime and Parsley Chia Seed combo is pretty good too. Cold press juices are tasty and fresh! The green juice is is my default but I also like the mix (red juice) when I’m craving something a little less sweet.

We usually bring friends that visit to experience the amazing agua frescas they offer and to gaze at the art exhibitions.

The only downside to Tio’s is the long wait. I would not recommend coming here if you’re looking for a quick bite. (For example: it can take up to 30 mins to get 1 Agua Fresca and 1 cold press juice.)

Customer service: experience varied greatly between weekend and weekday staff. Our best experience has been Sunday mornings- the staff is efficient, friendly and even offered to add whip cream+pumpkin spice to the coffee combo drink! Weekday visits did not yield the same experience.

Food: shredded beef tacos- shell was nice and crunchy; meat was tender and juice. Not a big fan of the chilaquiles because of the type of tortilla chips (too thick and dark/toasty) for my liking. Fish taco was a large portion (a whole filet) but not the batter/crisp I expected.

Parking: There is a parking lot but the spaces are a bit tight and limited to 90 mins. Plenty of street parking available. Watch for pedestrians (and baby strollers that pop into view before the adult)!

You have to go here.

There's nothing like it in Riverside.

The popart junk construction art is absolutely stunning.

They've been doing work recently and it shows. I love coming back to Riverside to visit tios.

The agua fresca is also very tasty.

Vegetarian options: There aren't any.

Come for the food, stay for the art! The shrimp burrito and shrimp taco were really good and quite larger than I had expected. The art is everywhere and really interesting, get close and take a really good look at the details.

Excellent setting. You can see the artistry behind the mind of Martin Sanchez. It's a lovely place to bring someone for a date or anniversary. I ordered the carne asada plate and it left a lot to be desired, but I will come back and try another plate.
