I'm 48 and grew up eating Tony's Mexican Food. I remember the days of 50 cent Tostadas. The prices have gone up with time, but the family recipes remain the same. I no longer live in Riverside, but I get Tony's any chance I can. They have the most amazing refried beans! And, even though their entire menu is excellent, I pretty much always get a bean and cheese burrito or tostads, chips and salsa. It's my go to. I was just in Riverside and got 4 burritos, lol....
Decent Mexican food, come on Tuesday or Sunday for $2 crispy tacos or Saturday for $2 tostadas. Some of their meats are kinda dry though when I get them in burrito. The tamale enchilada style (in picture) was pretty good.
I’ve been going to Tony’s tacos for over 25 years! And Tony himself would serve us as I called in my order. But will say the last few times I have eaten there I was disappointed…. Taco plate does not have salad on the side, and the meat and beans are not the same! I feel like they are trying to save money over the quality! And MR. Tony would not approve
