Good home mexican food! good for take out! we had the menudo, loved that you can get it with out the hominy, my husband had the street tacos, gave it an ok, our friend ms had the fried fish in garlic sauce and said it was the best his had! taquitos and guacamole were also good, but i did not like that they charge extra for chips, need some improvement in the salas.

Always a must when in the area! Actually, I will make a special trip just to eat here!! The red pork meat burritos are my fave. Add beans n cheese and booyah!! The entire menu is great, and the girls at the counter are always so sweet. A great family owned business with amazing staff and delicious food!!

I ordered 4 tacos here last week, the tacos tasted off like if they were old, and the limes I asked for were incredibly rotten and old. The service was quite boring and timid. Overall atmosphere was kinda lame. Sad to see such an iconic restaurant in the IE turned to such a disappointment. The original owner of this place would be disappointed ?.

Great food at a relatively decent price for decades. They have been consistently good, the taste is exactly the same as I remember 20 years ago and is the same at their San Bernardino restaurant.
It pains me to leave this comment, but I had to after this Saturday. I have been going here since the Tostadas on Saturday were $.25. The last few occasions there with the rising prices were cause for concern enough, but the problem Is the total lack of beans on the tostatdas. I was really eating a big nacho since it was just a big a chip with a lot of cheese. This is the last time I will eat there till I see better reviews on the portio s again.

Been coming here for years but this new generation running the place and took over are not as nice and they have an attitude if you only order a tostada and now beans taste like can beans, the salsa is pretty good tho.
I used to really enjoy the food here, but it's really gone downhill. The beans and rice are still good but the chili Verde had no flavor and was really tough.
