Good starter bar for the night. But when the restaurant opens, I would not be eating here. They have rats the size of possums. They have a family living upstairs in the office, The bar smells like sewer water. The bar may be renovated but it's just for show. But the thing that I don't like is that the new owner, (mezcal) are the same uptight, judgmental, money hungry individuals. On the plus side, if the bartenders like you, you get free drinks.

Went on a thursday night, gave the bouncer my id, all good, ordered an expensive whiskey and water, walked out to the patio so I could sit and vape and relax, jackass security comes out, says patios closed, I asked "where can I vape" he says "out front", I walk out front within the rails, bartender pops out "you cant drink that out there", by now im livid, "CLOSE MY TAB" I pound the drink in front of him, leave no tip, I bartend at a much nicer place, and know from experience how to actually make money as a bartender, I leave, and will never return.

These guys are a scam! They try charge your card extra transactions on hopes you won’t notice! I’m not the only one, how is this legal?
I only stopped in for drinks early one evening. The bartender was really nice and the green tea shot I had was delicious. I'll have to come back and try the food some time. Fun fact: the floors here are really sticky. I found that amusing more than anything.
