The tamales are delicious and substantive! The chicken ones are made green and are very hearty—both the chicken and the masa. If you’re in the area, they’re the best place to get your fix of some quality tamales!

Yvette's Bakery on Indiana in Riverside is hands down one of my favorite spots for fresh, authentic Mexican baked goods. They offer an incredible variety—from traditional pan dulce to tamales and freshly squeezed juices, everything is delicious and feels homemade.
Their chocolate conchas and white conchas are especially amazing—soft, sweet, and baked to perfection. I love that they offer both big and small sizes, and the pricing is so reasonable that I usually grab 10 at a time to enjoy throughout the week. They even have a bakery stand inside where they keep the conchas warm and constantly pump out fresh batches. You can literally smell the freshness as soon as you walk in.
Aside from the baked goods, they also serve red and green tamales that are super flavorful and satisfying. Sometimes for breakfast, I’ll get a fresh juice, a tamale, and a concha—perfect way to start the day.
There’s a whole wall of different Mexican breads and pastries to explore, making every visit a new experience. If you're looking for delicious Mexican bread north of the border, this is the place. Highly recommend!
Love their tamales. Tamales made fresh everyday. Pan dulce also good.
Super Good. Taste amazing.
The bread in the wood storage area is not fresh unfortunately. The jello recipes are not good. The tamales are not fresh. I think they are understaffed but they shouldn’t sell items if they don’t taste fresh.

The food is delicious and fresh. It can be crowded during rush hour. They accept card and cash. I like to come here for the tamales and bolillos.
First time visitor. I purchased pan dulce for my staff. I’m not a fan of pan dulce but they all liked it. I did get a cup of champorrado it was delicious!

I have been experiencing an upset stomach and or belly side pains after eating their pastries. Everything is in a primitive stage or like in an unclean food handling scenario.
This Mexican Panaderia is simply bad. It sucks. The worst is that it clearly does not care about what it sells to its customers. Specially since, it uses the worst flour outhere ( like damaged starch in their flour doe to make their pastries breads )and or they use ingredients that for sure upset your stomach.
This should not be happening.

I went to Yvette's Bakery for the first time since many people recommended their tamales. I got a pork tamale, a chicken tamale, some pan dulce that another customer recommended, and a flan. The tamales were still warm by the time when I returned to my house and delicious! Very juicy, not too salty, good balance of masa and filling. Their pan dulce was very fresh and scrumptious as well. I'll definitely go there again on Sunday to try their menudo and pick up a half dozen tamales.
