Applebee's Grill + Bar

I have had many not so good trips but never have I had to leave before actually getting any real food at all. Tonight was horrible. Got in before happy hour at 8:30pm and was sat in the almost empty bar area. Received our drinks from the bar right away and put in for 3 appetizers that were never brought out. The table next to us was finally ordering and we had to ask the waiter about our appetizers since it was now 9:30. He immediately came back with our appetizers that had clearly been sitting and were lukewarm at best. He raced off without asking about our food orders or anything. We were planing on ordering food and desserts but apparently no one cared enough to ask so we left since I couldn't afford to wait another hour just for cold burgers. We might as well have waited for the happy hour prices to kick in because it wasn't worth the $60 AT ALL for the cold food we did manage to get. I have let things go when a server is apologetic for it being short staffed or busy but we didn't even get a "sorry for the long wait" or anything to show anyone was trying or cared. Will probably not go back honestly

Went in today at 536pm, got seated right away in the bar area at a table not at bar.
Then the wait begins. I'm waiting smile and wave at bartender , sitting waiting to order. Host comes by and gets me some water at 549pm. Restaurant isn't that busy. Still waiting. Finally at 601pm when happy hour is over and only staff interaction was with the host who was amazingly friendly, I decided to leave.

Third time my order is wrong. Really tired of missing parts or just plain old not my order. Never complained but I’m sick of the incomplete orders.

OMG!!!!!! The bartender who worked on Thursday, January 9th at 3pm at the Applebee's at Labath & Rohnert Park Expressway should be fired. It was the worst service I have ever had. I will tell every single person I know. Do not ever go to Applebee's again. Horrible!!! She absolutely ruined my lunch inside of 20 minutes. She made me feel like I was completely in her way. I felt like everything I said was a problem for her to the point that I asked her if I "should go somewhere else?" No training can fix this train wreck!! If she treated me this way, she's doing it to others. You might even know who I'm talking about. If she reads this, she'll absolutely know who I am! Unbelievable!

On 11/18/24 at 3:00pm I sat on the bar to have a drink and lunch with my wife, the server was totally dry and not welcoming, maybe because we're not white, but he ignored us for a while then took our order , we tried to be as nice as possible with him, he didn't even check on us if we're ok or if we need anything, I asked for the bill, and found out that he over charged me and when I told him, he tried to argue with me. It was the worst experience I've ever had. I left and I don't think I'm going back to this restaurant.

Nate was awesome. Tried the new chicken sandwich. The meal value is pretty solid. Fairly tasty. Tipsy Reindeer was tasty and went down fast.

I ordered a few things tonight and while none of them where great the boneless wings managed to make me sick after one bite. I took a bite and something tasted very off, after closer inspection i realized that they had burnt them severely, (to the point that they were almost black under the sauce) and instead of throwing them out and trying again they just covered them in extremely hot buffalo sauce and sent them to me. I think they used much hotter sauce to try to hide the fact that they were burnt. I don’t think they would have ever served them to me if I was eating in but since it was a to go order aparently it is ok to poison me.

The server was horrible and bad at being just human. The server seems to be very confused in what a booster seat was for my kids. After we placed our order and the food was coming he was somehow able to drop a drink on my wife and didn’t have decency to apologize regardless of who was at fault but was quickly to blame my wife for her drink to be in the way. He walked to grab napkins by the that time my wife was humiliated in front of other customers, and still didn’t apologized. The food wasn’t that great from what I remember and asked for double patty on my burger and got one had bbq added which wasn’t supposed too. Just bad service and poor accountability. Wasn’t worth 80 bucks.

The waitress did not attend to us. She spent most of the time in the bar attending customer bringing them their food and drinks. I had to ask for napkins 3 times. My husband plate was so hot but his ribs were ice cold. How does that happen? Rohner park Applebees is not the place to be. I will be only going to Santa Rosa Applebees.
