Hana Japanese Restaurant

We have tried many sushi places in Sonoma, but this one is still the best. I wish they weren't temporarily closed, b/c we are craving Hana. I LOVE the burdock root. It is the only place I have seen it. I also love the sushi roll with no rice. There is only one, but I cannot remember what it is called. We have never had a bad night there!

The food and service are good at this restaurant. To me, the atmosphere is unusual. It's in a place that doesn't stand out and scream restaurant. It screams warehouse.

I liked this place, we tried everything on the menu! Great atmosphere and a killer party! I know it’s a fish place but the steak was my favorite!

If you want high end authentic Japanese food and sushi/sashimi north of san Francisco, then there is only one choice... Hana. Don't let the outside appearance scare you away. Trust me, I have been to Japan 100s of times and this place rocks.

i decided to go for sushi in honor of my cat sushi’s 17th birthday. Luckily for me, Hana is the closest sushi restaurant to where I live, beyond proximity the food is amazing.

Their ethos for sake is fascinating, their sushi is fresh and their specials are tantalizing. Vegan options aplenty.

It's always amazing here, it was my first time trying the Miso Black Cod, absolutely stunning, perfectly Caramelized, it came with crispy Brussels and delicious Japanese style potato salad, you have to try it. The rolls are always great too!

As always awesome service and delicious food. Whenever friends and family are in town this is the restaurant they always want to go back to with no complaints from me! Got there early as my mom had plans afterward and ended up grabbing a few items off their terrific Happy Hour Menu along with other favs off the regular menu. Totally addicted to their Maitake Tempura appetizer.

Hana has been in my list of restaurants to try for a long time. It's some of the best in the area. I was a bit disappointed that our crème brûlée had not set and it was like thick soup. A lack of quality control in the kitchen. It had good flavor though.

Best sushi and Japanese food in the Bay area. Very nice and fresh fish, expertly prepared paired with excellent Japanese cooked food and an incredible sake list always make for a great experience.

Hana is an outstanding Japanese restaurant. The service is excellent. There are such a variety of choices. The food is great and is presented in such a beautiful manner. Celebrations or just a dinner out should be at Hana.

Great food, and good service. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. We didn't do a reservation so we sat at the bar; if you want to make sure to get a table put a reservation in.
