I got; - 2 grilled fish tacos $3.99/ea - 3 regular soft tacos $2.99ea (1 each cabeza, lengua & shredded chx) - 1 bowl of Frijollas con queso (guessing around $6) - 1 Horchata about $3 (no refills) Bill totalled $28.17 after taxes (before tip).
I mean, they used 2 corn tortillas for each of the tacos.. I liked the softness of those tortillas, but as far as ALL of the proteins in the tacos, I felt like they weren't seasoned.... like at all. Usually a Mexican spice is used to flavor this stuff... yeah none of my meats had any Mexican spices on them. Where is the cumin? The Mexican chili powder? The paprika?? Even the salt.... well, i guess the salt is on the table, & i promise youre going to need it. It's really hard to mess this stuff up It's pretty straight forward. Even looking at the juice that is left behind on the plate, it was clear juice, like water, seriously...
Anyway I'll post a picture of the 5 tacos I got.
The fish was super bland as well, sadly. It was also such tiny pieces of fish in this little taco... usually there is some sort of slaw made for fish tacos, not for these, it's just the same as the other tacos, raw onion & cilantro, as well as the same Verde salsa that was on all the other tacos.
Frijolas con quest was just like watered down refried beans out of a can with like 10 pieces of shredded white cheese dropped on top. Not memorable at all either.
Idk how these people come up withthis fantastic idea to open ethnic restaurants with ZERO spice.. As in spicey spice, & ZERO spice as far as flavor.
That & I am noticing more of these garbage restaurants charging for refills for their sodas/horchatas... that should be your immediate red flag there. They don't need to charge for refills if their restaurant is actually making sales.

The torta was good, but the staff was a little stand-off-ish. I told the woman thank you multiple times. Did get a response ?. I thought there was a language barrier there, so I said it in spanish. Nope, it's still the same. I felt that every time I asked her for something, she loomed at me like I was dumb or something. Maybe she doesn't realize the faces she makes, and I could be taking it wrong. Might give it another chance
