Normally the Black Bear Diner has great food at all the others we have gone to. However this one not so much. There was so much pepper on the steak I ordered I had scrape it off with a knife. There was pepper in the cocktail sauce for the shrimp. It really was not worth it. Service was fantastic tho.

Exceptionally priced and great execution on food, Black Bear would be a favorite if I lived in the area. Large portions, fantastic and attentive staff (Victor is awesome!) it'd be great for quality, well priced food. The pot roast was delicious, LOVED the coleslaw, and banana cream pie was the best I've ever had.

Slow. Walked on after 15 minutes, being seated still not offered drinks or anything, staff being on their phone, chatting, I walked out.
The service was outstanding. Victor greeted us with joy and enthusiasm. The entire staff was very fast, and courteous food was excellent. We felt it was important to let Abel, the manager, know. I highly recommend this place. We'll be back for more soon.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My aunt asked for extra gravy and was not charged extra for it. I ordered the huckleberry lemonade and it was awesome ?. We're thinking about eating breakfast there. The Manger was there and he did a good job at managing his employees. The restaurant cleaned and organized.
