I've eaten here twice. Once in May '24 and again in Nov '24. On both visits I had schmutz floating in my beer. A little bit the first time, and a lot of it today. The food is good but today something sharp and flat got stuck in my throat as I finished my meal and I had to spit it up in their men's room. Very awkward making change while trying not to vomit. While I was taking care of that I noticed that whoever is brushing their teeth in the men's room is also tossing their toothpaste caps down the sink drain. Someone should probably fix the drain.
It looks like a really good restaurant with friendly staff. I'm super disappointed that I cannot bring myself to eat here again.

Went for dinner with my son. Started with spring rolls and calamari. They were great. I had garlic noodles with chicken, kid had a giant bowl of pho. We enjoyed them both.
Good portions size, prices are good. One of my favorite places

I've just recently started eating Pho and have had it in Palo Alto and San Rafael. Simmer is close to my good friend's home, and she recommended it. We've been to Simmer a couple of times now, and out of the 3 places, Simmer is the best. I've had the Seafood Pho (My favorite) and the Beef and Brisket Pho. It is very good, and I especially like the basil sprig that comes with it. The Chai Iced Tea is a total winner because you know when you down a huge bowl of pho, you need a little bump to offset the food coma. The food is reasonably priced, and the service staff was very polite and paid attention to your table at a distance without overwhelming you so you could enjoy your conversation. I think that's an underappreciated skill. I've been at restaurants where it seemed like the server was stopping by the table every 10 minutes, interrupting the conversation. So, great job there. My 5-Star rating is something I don't just give. It was earned. I will post photos next time we go. Great job, Simmer!

Went in at 7:40pm (they close at 8pm, apparently) and they said I could only do take out. Disappointing because everyone knows take out PHO is not the same as sit in. I worked all day on Sunday and was really looking forward to eating there.

The worst restaurant in Sonoma county for customer service and appreciation. They got our to go order wrong and when they told us to bring it back for exchange they wanted payment again even though we brought the food back to them. Very unintelligent way to run a business. We went here 1-2 times a month for the past year and now will never return.

Great place for Asian fusion right here in the Park. Love the Shrimp Bun, that's a fave. Always fresh and tasty!

1. Their online prices are incorrect. I payed way more then what i had initially calculated.
2. Portions are not worth their cost on some items.
3. Food could use a lot more flavor
4. The only upside is the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice and not to over stimulating.

Way too expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, two coffees, to orders of rice plates, one order of spring rolls for almost $90, with tip, roughly $110. Spring rolls are mediocre, loose wrap, with exposed lettuce and very little meat, the place looks nice but looks are deceiving because we saw a cockroach climb the wall near our table in front of the waitress and she acting nonchalant as if it's a norm. We should have stepped out at that moment but for sure that was a first and last. Be warned, save your money and appetite.
