Just wanted to start off recognizing the server Rodrigo gave us excellent service 10/10 very attentive and answered all of our questions he’s the reason I decided to do a review. Also Im from Louisiana moved to Cali 2 years ago I’ve been looking for a good crawfish and found it, all though I felt my crawfish needed a little more Cajun seasoning the flavor was there. Overall the food was good. Will be back my family and i enjoyed ourselves.

On May 8th, 2024, my family of 14 (3 non eaters) celebrated a birthday dinner for 2 family members. In anticipation of a large bill, we had purchased three Synergy Restaurant Gift Cards from Costco totaling $150.00.. Our bill totaled $559.51, which included a party charge of $78.12 and a sales tax $47.38. Eventhough Simmer Clawbar is listed on www.synergygiftcards.com as a recipiant of their gift cards, Simmer Clawbar refused to honor them claiming they discontinued participation two months prior to our visit. When showed they were still listed, they changed their story to say they had just discontinued the week before. This clearly reeks of a "bait and switch" operation and put a number of us in a bind affordably. Plus, in the confusion, the person paying the bill added $100.00 tip onto the total that had already been tipped, I am writing this review to warn others, because Simmer Clawbar is still listed as honoring Synergy Restaurant Gift Cards to this day (Sept.22, 2024)

This is the fish n chips for $16. Sponge. Their chicken strips were obviously just processed chicken in perfect spheres. It seemed like everything came out of a frozen Costco bag. Maybe dine in is a different experience, but I wouldn’t eat here again.

This place is amazing! I've eaten at Simmer Claw Bar many times over the last 3 years, and it's one of my top 10 favorite restaurants in Sonoma County. I love all of their food; the boils, hot pots, sides, appetizers, and plates. They also have sake bombs! It's a little expensive (and prices keep climbing) but worth every dollar. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Service needs to improve, our waiter took our order and collected payment., but while eating and needing more drinks additional napkins we have to keep raising our hands to catch someone’s attention. And at the and the waiter shows up with the bill and she still expected to get 15-30% tip?! TIP SHOULD BE EARN NOT SUGGESTED. Your service will determine if yo get rewarded.

This place is good!! Their broths are amazing, everything was fresh!!! The only thing that ruined it for us was the shrimp not properly cleaned. Their drink options are very minimal and not good.

We had such a wonderful time here. This happens to be my son’s favorite seafood restaurant and he wanted it as his last meal before he headed out into the world on his next adventure. So I obliged. Took him and his besties and let them go to town.
Because we are over an hour away, I had called to ask if we would still be seating based on our arrival time. They said yes, so we made the trip. Upon arrival we were advised they were no longer seating. I had explained that my son was leaving, this was his only request, and we made the trip because we were told we could still be seated. The manager was so kind. She told us that she apologized for any miscommunication and they could still eat.
I didn’t get photos of their appetizers because young boys/men eat like food is going out of style. But I did take some of their meals. My son said he wasn’t sure what the sauce was, he took whatever was recommended to him and I think it was a house sauce, maybe a Simmer Sauce. Whatever it was, he said it was the best ever.
I was so grateful they served my boys, I started helping clean the other tables while my kids ate. lol I know we were the last customers and was so thankful to them for giving my boy this moment, it meant more than you’ll ever know because the next day, I was dropping him off and without you guys, he wouldn’t have had an amazing last meal of his request. Thanks for giving us great memories to hold onto. I will definitely bring him back someday to celebrate his accomplishments and show our appreciation to you all for giving us this night together.
