this is a tough review for me because I really like the tacos there but I had a chile relleno burrito today and we really seem to be like in flavorthe only thing that tastes good in the burrito was the beans and the hot sauce that I got on the side so if you go to this place order tacos don't order the burritos well at least that's my experience because I got a special but it tasted nothing like a chili relleno.The service was fairly decent

I've lived in RP for a few years now and always saw this place but never went to it. My son was begging for a burrito and all the places around are not that good and I saw this place got great reviews.so went grocery shopping and as I was finishing up I called to place a pickup order. The really sweet girl on the phone was so nice and told me 10 to 15 min. Perfect. Finished my shopping checked out and then went right in and yes had to wait a min there was a line. I wish they had more salsa the bar was pretty empty at that time.. but amazing green and red salsa! Burritos were great size. Great price and bothe the chicken and carnitas were so good. Good service when I picked up and was looking at the menu while I waited and I wish I would have got the crispy tacos...I will be back soon I wanna try a few things. This place his a hidden gem of the city. I'll be back soon!

Well, El Tapatio is a great place to eat, enjoy, and talk with a friend, girlfriend, or boyfriend. I like the great service and food. It is a nice place to have a date or buy a good taco, burrito, or dish of food.

Great food and good service! What more could you want? The carnitas here are amazing! The best in the area. There is something on the menu for everyone. Their burritos are huge as are the super nachos. Service is very fast and friendly.

Excellent taqueria that has gotten even better under current ownership. Very popular with the indigenous, and you may need to tolerate a Spanish language TV channel. I enjoy the tacos much more than the chain competition.Parking: Grocery shopping center.
Went in this morning with my family. Food was delicious and prices are great compare to many places! Veggie burrito was outstanding the Menudo amazing as always. If you want great service and outstanding food visit them it’s more than worth it!

We ended up here because Simmer had a line out the door on a Monday night. When we were ordering, I asked if there was anything without rice and beans and I was told that tacos were the only option. So I ordered a Carnitas and a grilled chicken taco. We each got about 10 complementary chips in a tiny paper basket to have with the salsa bar, which I guess was OK because they didn't charge us for the chips. I was a little surprised at how tiny the tacos are. I've never seen such small tacos in my life. Product shrinkage in 2023 is something to marvel at. How clever to save on food cost by shrinking taco size. Whooda thunk? After about a half dozen bites, and five minutes later, I was done and decided not to get anything else because it just wasn't that great, to be honest. Pretty average, not much character or flavor. But I was still hungry when I left! My daughter liked her Al pastor tacos and the salsa bar was good with fresh pico, red sauce, tomatillo and green sauce. So this place might be fine for the rice and bean based food that makes up their entire menu, but I don't recommend the tacos.

Everything is good, good tasting food, good customer service but the reason why I give it 3 stars is because the waitress and cashier have 2-inch dart nails and I'm not exaggerating, it's by code that long nails are not allowed in restaurants.

I ordered online super carnitas nachos with extra carnitas let me tell you the carnitas was great it had sour cream and cheese , what I loved about it you can still taste the carnitas which is my favorite. It's a nice place to eat it's right by simmer in the Safeway Plaza When I was picking up my order it was busy.
