The Cove- Asian Bistro

This is the best food in Rohnert Park, no question. Flavorful and fresh (tastes great, feels great). Our favorites: lemongrass kebabs, chicken basil, wonton soup. (Re: some negative reviews here, yes it seems like a small operation, but they're nice people who are cooking quality food.)

Not hard to see why this place is empty. Bahn Mi was terrible and saturated in mayonnaise. Took over 30 minutes to get food to the table.

Supposedly the owner was the one that took our order pay upfront. We order some drinks and she says she doesn’t know how to make it and ran out of most of the ingredients. We give her the benefit of the doubt and still order our meals. She got it wrong, brought the wrong drinks and it took awhile just to get our foods. They brought my husband and child dishes and forgot mine. I went up to ask for my dish, she just giggled and says she forgot about my dish. I told her that we are done. I had her refund my dish and we left.

Weird little spot with a limited menu..pretty pricey....But damn the food is amazing.

Food was delicious! Very clean as well. Unfortunately it took an hour to get my food when only two other people were in the restaurant. I was extremely disappointed in service. If you forget to make something, you should really offer something to the customer for the time they are waiting. Prices were also different than what was posted.

Fabulous food! An amazing Cambodian cook who really knows what she's doing. It's all so flavorful and very good value for the money. The beef stew is the best my husband has ever had.

08/28/2023 @ 12:45pm; Google map reviews shows (total of 8-reviews were all 5.0) so my sister and I visited for first time to try out how good they are.As we walked in, a lady welcome us at the counter to take a order so we ask where is a menus (menus cannot light it up on the screen above the counter) so we asked for paper menus, she said they don't have paper menus plus she cannot speak much of English to communicate so we decided to leave.All 8-reviews on Google map are "QUESTIONABLE" ????????Would not recommend this eatery.

The little Asian bistro in the Raleys shopping center in Rohnert park is quite a find. It has been open for about six months, but I had not realized it was there because of the open sign above the door is small and every time I had went by previously I thought it was closed. But yesterday I noticed the doors were open and I saw people inside because of the low lighting looking from the outside. You think all the lights are out. On the frontage window they need a big open sign and also when you go into a shopping center. When you first open they will let you have a grand opening sign to attract attention . It’s quite clean inside and also the help is very nice but I think it would be helpful if instead of ordering the food up front at the counter it wouldn’t seem so fast food like. And also, it would be nice if they would bring the food to your table because of the beautifully laid out restaurant style I think would help business very much. I ordered the Pho which was very good, but not to the normal, but I am used to at most places. The flavor was great but instead of lime, they give you lemon, and the meat was thicker than others to where it was a little tough, but still tasty. To improve anything if I thought would help they should buy a slicer and slice the beef to where most people that eat Pho are used to eating eye of round sliced very thin. The bowls of.Pho are a great proportion and it gives you a lot of broth to where there is plenty left to drink if you like the beef flavor. But those of you who can’t eat the whole bowl will probably take it home because it’s so delicious. The only problem I have with taking it home was that the containers were made of paper and if you are a working person and it Hass to sit in your car for five hours it would change the taste of the broth. Every other. Pho restaurant that I have been to has always given you a plastic container with lid for two reasons, one it won’t change the taste of the broth, too if the container happens to tip over the lid, won’t come off. Overall a great little gem to find. The owners really need to let people know they are there. Why are you spend all the money to open for just a few.

I had the Salmon over rice and it was one of the best salmon meals I have ever had. I can't wait to go back for more.

The food was so fresh and so good. Had a party of 7. Can’t recommend this place enough. Please support this business. The owner was so gracious and wonderful.

Vegetarian options: I had the avocado salad and tofu spring rolls. So fresh and so good.

Parking: Lots of parking.
