**Review of Diamond Jim's Casino: A Disturbing Experience** I recently had a deeply unsettling experience at Diamond Jim's Casino that I feel compelled to share for the sake of potential customers. During my visit, I was assaulted by a regular patron who, after I had a big win, approached me with intimidation tactics. This individual poked my ribs with two fingers and aggressively demanded $200 from me to continue playing poker. The unexpected aggression was shocking and left me feeling threatened in what should have been a fun and safe environment. I defended my self, To my dismay, rather than addressing the situation appropriately, the management on duty chose to kick me out. When I requested that they review the security footage to verify my account, the manager flatly refused to do so. Additionally, she showed no interest in speaking with other players who were present at the table and could corroborate my story. This lack of concern for customer safety is alarming. I strongly advise potential visitors to be aware of the environment at Diamond Jim's. If a regular customer can act with such aggression without consequence, it raises serious questions about the safety protocols in place at this establishment. Please reconsider before visiting—your safety and hard-earned money may not be as protected as you would hope. It's disheartening to think about how many others may have faced similar intimidation and abuse without the management taking responsibility.
Always a good experience when I go here! I want to give a special shout out to Ricco one of the severs who is always so attentive and friendly!! He always has a smile and always makes me feel so welcoming! The food is great and good prices definitely recommend!!
For a casual dinner with great drinks Diamond Jim's is perfect. Food is plentiful, very tasty and reasonably priced. Served at a table, the bar or your seat at the poker table. Could use more attentive wait staff but any time waiting for service is acceptable when you taste the food.
This guy Scott is the worst guy in the casino and he’s racist he treated me like shit
It’s great to gamble in this place but without the floor man in there, his name is Scott. He needs a little bit more professionalism to be treated to other customers. He actually kicked me out of there for no reason he seems like a racial discrimination against Mexicans.
I like the restaurant part however they are not Consistent with their menu selections. One day they will have soup and they next they don’t.
such friendly happy faces in there ..there food was delish!!!! prices were amazing hot fresh food country fried steak breakfast best ever !
The restaurant and bar are currently closed by the health department due to rodent droppings (rats are native to the area and live in the desert outside) and food waste and grease buildup in the food prep areas. On the plus side the casino is still open they are giving away free soft drinks and bags of chips during the remediation. I am sure they will take care of this quickly and make sure it doesn't happen again. The food is good and prices are reasonable. I will still have no problem eating there.
Don’t let Cenovio’s review fool you. I was present during the incident. Cenovio was behaving terribly; shouting, mocking, degrading other players. He was so loud at the table next to us that a gentleman at our table kindly asked him to quiet down. He responded with worse behavior. The other players at my table told me that Cenovio was asked to leave the poker room once before for his outrageous behavior. Jake was very professional and patient with him. He calmly spoke with him several times and Cenovio ignored his requests. There was never any implication of racism. I have been to Diamond Jim’s on several occasions and Jake has always been completely professional. The casino is a little haven for card players that live in the middle of the desert or people traveling through. We are lucky to have it in the Antelope Valley.
Small Card Room Casino located in the middle of nowhere 10 min North of Lancaster, CA. Casino has only card based games. 16 Poker tables, 2 to 3 Blackjack tables, 1-2 Baccarat tables and 1-2 Three Card texas holdem tables. Most days/nights outside of poker tournaments, there are only 2-5 cash game poker tables going on and 90% they are 1/2 NLH and sometimes 2/3 NLH. On most Mondays they do get a 5/10 game going. The staff is extremely friendly and fun to play with. They have a restaurant on the property which has really good food for great prices as well. I rate this poker house as mediocre because of the lack of games, size of card room and location which is poor. Everything else is excellent.
