One of our favorite hidden places to eat! Anything you pick either from the dinner menu to the lunch menu will be well satisfied. I've ordered the dumplings, potstickers, green pancakes and the kung pao chicken. The service is great and they'll customize to your liking. Quick and delicious!

One of the best cost performance Chinese restaurant around here in Rowland Heights. I always order the seafood noodle soup (vegetarian options available) and scallion pancakes. The BEST scallion pancakes in this area. The price is reasonable, sometimes even lower than competitors. You must try.

I try to visit this place every time I'm in the area. We got a small feast worth which included the beef rolls, house chicken, green onion pancakes, pig ear and tofu sides, the pork and chicken dumplings, and fried dumplings. Everything was delicious and everyone in the family had different favorites. I'm partial to the beef roll, which is the best I've had yet! It's something I could easily eat everyday and wish I could. The chicken is a special treat, its served cold over sliced cucumbers with a sauce to pour on top. There are some bones in the chicken so beware. It's enough for a family and it's easy to share. The green onion pancake is also a favorite, we got two portions as it's likely everyone's favorite as well. The pig ear and tofu are also so good. The tofu is lightly flavored, the pig ear has a good chew on it and is so easy to eat. The dumplings were also delicious, hard to go wrong with one of those choices. We usually eat in but got it to go this time and had no issues picking up the food.

In the past I've had a more enjoyable time here, so this might just be a reflection of an off day or just their to go. Alright, just an FYI, there is a Golden CHINA restaurant next to the New Golden CITY restaurant. Literally right next to each other, so that was a tad confusing for us. I made a take out order via phone, had no issues, and was told our food would be done in 20 minutes. I got the: 1) Gyoza: -8 pieces and comes with black vinegar and chili sauce. -The gyoza were sizeable and filling was both pork and cabbage. -Wished it were a bit crispier on the edges, but other than that it was alright. Skin was a bit thick. -My mom complained that the vinegar sauce was way too sour like it went bad, but I thought it was just normal lol. 2) Black Soy Bean Noodle: -Noodles and the black soy bean sauce came separate. -The noodles are thin round noodles, they kinda stuck onto each other when we took them out of the to go container. Like stuck together in a square packaged way... -Sauce came with onions, some diced carrots and meat in it. -Sadly was kinda bland...even with soaking the noodles in the sauce, it didn't really improve or increase the richness of the flavor. 3) Combination Fried Rice: -Comes with scrambled egg, shrimp, pork, peas, carrots, and all mixed in well with the meat. -Not too oily. -As my brother says it's a mix between the fried rice we would get at Panda Express and the fried rice we get prepackaged at BMC. -Alright. 4) Mapo Tofu: -Decent with slight numbing spice afterwards. -Good amount of beef inside. -Also a touch sour, that my mom didn't like either...LOL -I thought this was okay. I thought it was more or less alright, with some kinda meh aspects, but my mom disliked it GREATLY and complained the entire time she was eating something. I don't think I'll come back unless invited by someone else to give them another try.

I really want to give them five stars, but I won't because I didn't like how I had to wait for 30 minutes for something that I ordered on the phone. It takes 20-30 minutes to drive from my house to New Golden City, so I order beforehand to get the food. They usually give it to me in 5 minutes when I get there, but for the past few orders I recently bought, I had to wait for 30-40 mins. Also, the last order I bought there was so disappointing because they forgot to put Green Onion Pancake when I already paid for it. I didn't want to go back there to get it because the drive is too much of a hassle for something that they forgot to put. The food is good, though. The black bean noodles and sweet & sour pork were good.

I live in a food desert and tried this place when in LA and it was, with no exaggeration, the best Chinese food I have had in 10 years

Many dishes to choose from their lunch special menu and the price was reasonable, I try the shrimp fried noodles (soft noodles), the Mongolian beef, both dishes weren't bad at all.

The vermicelli dish really should be eaten in person... because as the dish cools the noodles stick together.. best to eat that dish when dining in... also when I order to go they are super fast.. usually takes 15-20 minutes

We never miss to dine-in at this place when ever we are in Rowland Heights. We like their spicy seafood noodle dish, green onion pan cakes, fish and pork dumpling. It is a small place and can get busy. Their service is great.

Located right across from the indoor entrance of the 99 Ranch Market, this place serves a lot of Korean-Chinese hits. The takeout experience was efficient, ready in 20 minutes as promised over the phone. We ordered: 1) Liang Zhang Pi aka the Combination Plate 2) Beef roll 3) Crispy chicken with Hot Garlic Sauce My favorite by far was the Crispy Chicken w/ Hot Garlic Sauce as it had that perfect balance of sweet and sour with a hint of spice. This dish made me keep going for more until it was all gone and I highly recommend if you're only going to get one thing here, get this. The beef roll was solid with well marbled beef and a nicely prepped cucumber inside scallion pancake wrap. The wrap is a bit thicker than I would have liked but otherwise this was very tasty. The Combination Plate had great ingredients and was a delicious appetizer. I may have preferred the horseradish type sauce to be lighter with the rest in a separate container on the side. There were certain bites where my nose was hit sharply by too much of the horseradish sauce. All in all, would absolutely return and is a great place to go in Rowland Heights.

i stopped by this shopping center and looking for something to eat. This restaurant was near the entrance. We had ordered the spicy seafood and pork noodle soup and also the beef roll. This restaurant was quite busy, that was a good sign. The beef roll came first and it was quite good. The spicy seafood and pork noodle soup was quite good but I like the noodle soup made in another restaurant in Garden Grove better.

WHEN: 12/21/21 Monday @ 7pm PARKING: located inside the 99 ranch market so there's a ton of parking available in the lot Came here on a cold night because my dad was craving hot and sour soup. This place has been here for many many years and I've always passed by when going into 99 ranch but this was surprisingly my first time here. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful to us. We ordered 4 things and the food came out very fast. What we ordered: 1. House Special Chicken ($16 for large) - braised chicken in a dark vinegar/soy sauce sauce served with chilled cucumbers. This chicken is so good! Definitely worth the price because each piece was so tender and flavorful. And the portions is huge 2. Hot and Sour Soup ($10.50) - comes with lots of stuff inside and perfect for a cold night. Also huge portion 3. Pan fried dumplings ($10 for 8 pieces) - pan fried perfectly. I love that the skin isn't too thin and there's still some juice inside 4. Cold Combination Platter ($18) - this was a new dish and I had no idea what to expect. You get a platter of a ton of ingredients surrounding the thick glass noodles with a wasabi like marinade. To me it resembles a Chinese version if bibimbop and I really liked it! Overall, this place is such a hidden gem. It's everything you want in a traditional Chinese spot. The place is clean and the service is great. 5/5 go support!
