We’ve been coming here for years because the food is consistently great. However, the service has always been hit or miss. Unfortunately, this last visit was the final straw.

When we asked our waitress for a condiment (specifically sesame oil), she curtly replied, “No, it already has sesame oil.” It felt dismissive and unnecessary. We’ve never had a problem requesting condiments at this or other similar restaurants before, and the interaction left us feeling unwelcome.

We’re not sure if this was due to cultural bias, but as non-Korean customers, we couldn’t help but feel like we were being treated differently. It’s disappointing, because we genuinely used to enjoy coming here. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

The mushroom tofu soup (soondubu) had amazing broth!! Flavor had the depth I look for whenever I have soondubu. I will definitely come here again. I was okay with the side dishes (banchan) though. I enjoyed the cucumber, I did not enjoy the potato since it was on the sweet side (I do not prefer sweet - that’s just my taste preference.)

Great place for korean tofu. Price is on the higher end. They have combo meals, tofu + protein. Grilled chicken and kalbi were great. Bulgogi was overly salted. Mushroom and oyster tofu dish were fantastic. Dumpling tofu was decent. Can request different spicy levels. Comes with banchan. Overall good food, service and spacious seating.

I selected this restaurant based on the more favorable ratings. While I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the place overall was not very clean and the men's restroom looked and smelled like it had not been cleaned in a few days.

Very tasty tofu soup and the ribs were so flavorful and yummy. I just wish the portion of ribs for the lunch special was slightly larger. I had a total of 5 piece of ribs in my order.

One of the best tofu house in Rowland, been craving some tofu soup but not in ktown, this place is the spot for any tofu soup and Korean cuisine related dishes. The bibimbap is also crazy good with a great mix. The fish is not too fried and very on the spot with great taste. Tofu house has always been a staple in my childhood and I was not disappointed. Tofu soup is a must order in a tofu house!

Our family often goes to their home to eat, but my husband and the kids went there twice and ordered a set meal. The waiter was unwilling and said that the order was too little. But I couldn’t eat even if I ordered too much. The first time I refused. I’m talking about my husband, but today my husband went with the kids again, and he still said he ordered too little. I don’t know if your family asks for how much when ordering, or if you order less, you won’t be happy. I’m really angry, it’s too much. Yes, I won’t leave you a small tip.

Good food and super nice people. I don’t speak Korean and the woman who served me didn’t speak much English. I didn’t know what I was doing with how to eat my food (got a hot stone pot) and she mixed it all for me and showed me what to do. Super nice - thank you kindly for the experience and having me :)

I arrived five minutes before they opened, and the waitress, with a poor attitude, refused to let me use the restroom until they officially opened. It reminded me of the waitresses’ unfriendly demeanor when I’ve had dinner there in the past. I won’t be returning… such poor attitude.

Soon tofu soup is *super* filling, especially since it by default comes with rice, so my partner and I decided to get one soon tofu + pork cutlet combo and another order of the galbi special (it's a larger serving of galbi without the soon tofu) to share. This got us both really full.

I really enjoyed their pork cutlet combo. The flavour was really good and cabbage was a refreshing side. The galbi was also tasty and seasoned well. The pork cutlet combo was a good deal considering the huge amount of food that you get. I will say, though, that the soon tofu is a smaller serving than what I've seen at most other korean restaurants. And the galbi was kind of expensive ($32 for 12 pieces) and didn't come with rice or anything.

The banchan (side dishes) was good, especially the potato salad.

All in all, I had a solid experience here. The seafood chigae was exceptional, and I combined that with a sizzling galbi platter (6 pieces, half portion).

The galbi was a bit sour, and not in an interesting tangy way, but in a sitting around too long way. Otherwise, everything was impeccable and I enjoyed the banchan as well as customer service. One star lost due to meat freshness, otherwise great spot and I will be back!
