Loved breakfast here! It was freshly made and savory, and the customer service was great. They take great care of all customers, even when it gets crowded. They have so many options for breakfast that its hard to decide. It all looks good!

Casa Alvarez has some of the tastiest Mexican food around. The albondiga soup had 6 meatballs with lots of vegetables in a savory broth. The crunchy beef taco is really crunchy. The beef is perfectly seasoned and covered with lettuce and cheese. Yummy! The chicken flats are humongous, crispy, and delicious.
The friendly service is an additional plus.

Disappointing. Twice we orders nacho fiesta and chili relleno and both times they were not hot even all the cheese was not melted. The first time we asked to reheat the chili relleno and they must have forgot about it since they just visited in the back and it took 20 minutes to come back. We weren't going to send it back this time. Probably look for a new place.

Are you white and can't handle much spice? This place is for you, literally gringo central! Salsa is more like Pico, no spice really in anything, they serve everything with sour cream. Not 1 Mexican in there, all gringos and that just means spice is minimal. You can ask for spicy salsa but it's more like a sauce in a bottle than in a dish, if you get my drift. Server was great and punctual, very friendly! Highly recommend if you lean more towards tex mex than true authentic Mexican with all the spices!
Don't complain to the manager that they got the order wrong! Hell call the sherrifs station on you for standing up for yourself!

I have eaten there many times in the past and the food was just like mom used to make. Fast forward 15 years and I was very disappointed with the food . Even the salsa was a disappointment. I definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone I’m sorry to say.
