We stopped by Rowland Heights on our way home from LAX and stumbled upon Hanshin Pocha off of Gale and Nogales, just north of the 60 freeway. There are plenty of eats in the area and we thought this would satisfy our hunger for something hot and satiable - and open late night!

After perusing their menu, I was drawn to the steamed egg and, likewise, the rest of our party wanted the same thing. We were only a party of 5 (4 adults + 1 child) so we thought we would...

We have cravings for Korean food, but not the typical Korean BBQ. So we checked out Hanshin Pocha for the first time. Very down to earth setting. In the middle there's a big article and picture of the famous Korean chef (Chef Jong Won Paik) who also founded this chain of restaurants.

We told the server this is our first time so he was very helpful to explain the tradition and the type of food and what are their specialties.
