Permanently Closed :(

I have been coming to this restaurant and their other locations for DECADES. I remember their old location in city of industry as well as a few other locations. I visit Happy Family frequently. They know my family and I, they have great service and great food.
Today my family and I came to enjoy our favorite vegetarian Chinese food only to find out that they are permanently closed :( They closed about 3 weeks ago according to the 99 Ranch employees.

This restaurant has good food, great atmosphere and pretty good service. Our favorite is the crispy pork, the cold noodle dish and the crispy sugared sweet potatoes for dessert. We will be back

The business I believe is out of business. We went there and it's all closed up

This is definitely one of the best tasty vegan restaurants in Southern California, or even the whole California since I’ve also lived in Bayarea for a little over 20 years.

I’m not a vegetarian but I enjoyed the foods so much, very tasty and offer huge varieties from the menu. They are NOT those dry undercooked vegetables you have in your mind, they have eggplants, pumpkins, tofu, meat-like stuff dishes made from soybeans .

The atmosphere may not be the best but the food is simply awesome!

This is spot for the family and even non vegan family members love this place. Crispy Fried Mushrooms, Pumpkin Soup, and EVERYTHING is YUMMY!! 7 Stars for this place.

Great tofu dishes and the eggplant is outstanding. Friendly staff and always a pleasure to dine here!

So...so delicious

So good! Love their lunch special menu. Ordered 2 lunch specials (orange chicken & braised tofu) and e-fu noodles. So tasty and yummy. I can't wait to come back! I ended up with enough leftovers for meals for the next day. My comfort vegetarian food.

Their special flower +gogi berry tea does cost $3.95.
They do close between 2:30PM and 4:30PM.

The address that maps brought me to was not Happy Family. I believe it was Happy Seafood restaurant. It was a week ago. Don't really remember. Since I got out of the car to check it out, I was disappointed. But there was a Ranch 99 market next door. So I went there instead and purchased a 16 lb bag of Botan rice for the house.

MY FAVORITE CHINESE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. TASTES AND LOOKS LIKE THE REAL DEAL BUT EVERYTHING IS OBVIOUSLY VEGETARIAN. SERVICE IS GREAT THE LADIES WHO WORK THERE ARE SO NICE. OFFERED ME A BOWL OF RED BEAN SOUP EVEN THOUGH I WAS JUST WAITING FOR MY TAKEOUT.
