Don't go on the day when they have singer performed, some of them sing well, but it's way tooooooo loud for me and my friend to talk. We end up just pay the bill and go somewhere else to talk. It's a shame that the food was good, but the over volume music and singer kills it. If this problem can be resolved, I believe I will be stay longer and order more food and drink. I will only come this place during the weekdays while there is no singer performing.

to each of their own, this place has the best skewers anywhere, especially their angus beef, tried nearly all Chinese kebab places in 10 miles radius and none even came close. I visit this place at least once a month just for their skewers. But I agree with most reviews here that their other variety of food didn't measure up to their skewers quality, and place their dishes on disposable dining ware made the presentation extra cheap Still, I'm a big fan of their skewers, would hate to see them shut down while there's no replacement who makes equivalent quality skewers.

This food is overpriced compared to the quality. The skewers are not fresh, taste like frozen skewers which you can purchase from the supermarket. We ordered beef and lamb all taste like artificial meat.

*3.7 stars This place was completely empty when I came in for lunch, which made me hesitate a little. But overall the food is actually good here. The skewers here are cooked and seasoned for you, they have a variety of meats to choose from. Also other entrees such as fried rice, noodles, and more. My favorite skewers here are the angus beef, the pork and sausage was okay. The only downside was that it's pretty pricey compared to other skewer places, and the quality of the meat doesn't justify for it. I probably won't come back, because there are places with better pricing and more selection on the menu. This place is located across from boiling crab, so a decent amount of parking spaces.

ridiculous high price with low quality food. Super disappointed, don't even give a try if you have other options. Chicken wing is from frozen wings and they just put on some spices on it. Sweet and sour noodle is from Japanese frozen ramen. Does not worth me to take a picture. No pictures

Happy Tree House Bbq has delicious tasting food but when I went here for dinner our food just took too long and overall the wait to get everything was hours. We came inside this place and noticed it had about six tables that were there. The thing is to even get our order, water, and even any type of service took too long. But each item that came out all at different times because some menu items cook faster than others did taste nice. It might be that this place doesn't have enough staff members and that is understandable because of Covid. Overall I did really like the food though and if you have patience and time on your hand, this is doable. My favorite fishes were the eggplant, tofu, and the clear noodle! So many items were on point with flavor, you just have to wait for it.

poor taste. I came to this restaurant for bbq about 4 years ago, the taste is just ok! Food got cold when it out on plate. I accidentally came to this restaurant again. Getting more expensive and tastes so so so. There is not many people eating here. Cross street booing card has a long line.

I was there on a Saturday evening 1st time eating there. There was only 2 other tables occupied, not a busy place. The two waitresses spoke very little English and could not recommend anything on menu.... Waitress came to our table once to take order which was a struggle and once to bring food and once to pick up the tab. After waiting for my change for a long awhile I had to ask for my change because they were very busy catering to their race. Didn't seem as if they care to serve different race customers but their own!!! That's to bad because we all have the same value of money!! And by the way the food was not so fresh... I will never give them my business again. This order had no gratuity required!!

I cannot believe Happy Tree House doesn't have at least 4 stars. Their food is so good!! Especially the chicken wings! So flavorful and moist. And the chicken gristle is very interesting. Usually chicken cartilage is in skewer form but they deep fry their chicken cartilage with giant red chilis. The chilis are like chips in this dish but don't be afraid. Not spicy at all. The restaurant is pretty big with plenty of seating. Definitely large party friendly. I find it to be a very good place to hangout with friends, have a few drinks, and eat delicious food. They only thing is they close early, at 9, on the dot, but I hope this changes in the near future.
My NO.1 is this Angus Beef Skewer always perfect as usual. They added many new dishes all very pretty good my new favorite is pickled vegetables fish we ordered small but it's huge very flavorful! This place had became our go to spot since covid it got two private dining rooms in the back perfect for kids to run around.

I was traveling from Florida to California and on my way to the Redlands I was craving The Boiling Crab. When I got to the location of the Boiling Crab, which was a strip mall, I was told I would have a 2 hour wait. I decided to go elsewhere. The strip mall was heavily Asian influenced. I ended up at the Happy Tree House because it was the least intimidating looking restaurant. The staff was friendly but the menu was overwhelming, it came in Chinese? And English but the descriptions were short and vague. I asked my server for assistance. I got a couple of beef skewers, they were delicious and very flavorful and spicy Chicken- which was really spicy but equally as great. The food was great but I was overwhelmed at the menu and wish I'd done more research or knew more Chinese

Beautiful environment, poor ingredients, mediocre taste In order to eat fresh fish, we ordered the boiled fish made from live fish, but the fish was as small as the arowana fillet. Barbecued oysters don't feel cooked at all, they're fishy. The only thing better is the lamb kebabs. After eating, we all had stomachache, I was troubled from night to morning, the stomach was very uncomfortable at midnight. Seriously suspect the ingredients are not clean.

People here are very helpful and obliging. Also, the food is awesome. Just wish for the barbecued fish, they will have more choices (they only have see bass for the sizzling barbecue style.
