I wanted to come to this place to try acevichado sushi, I was very disappointed because the taste was not good at all and it didn't taste like acevichado sushi, we also ordered roast chicken with potatoes and chaufa, the taste was too good, the chicken was perfectly cooked, the potatoes golden and perfect, the rice tasted very good, I will definitely return to this place to try that good chicken and other delicious dishes again .the price is quite affordable

$20 I don't know if this is worth that price I understand times are rough but also a lomo saltado shouldn't cause 20+ dollars for the minimum of meat that it has

Service is exceptional. They have a great host by the name of Brandon. He is knowledgeable, suggestive of the different types of foods, and very friendly. Higo did a great job hiring such a great employee. Food was good, ordered teriyaki steak and chicken with California rolls. Yum

Been to this place couple times . Always been an alright place . Not bad . Saw they were under " new management " so decided to give it another try and literally took 40 min to get one food item. People that ordered same time as me got their food , dined and left before i even got mine . And once i left i didn't even get my full order there was shrimp missing. After this visit don't even wanna go back. $15 for a roll to be half asssed . No thanks . You wanna good Peruvian food go to MR POLLO .

Place fell off after new management no more rotisserie chicken and plates are all over priced. Well not be eating here

Over priced food for their portion size. Food is pretty good, I just think you aren't paying for what you're getting. Service is okay. Over all if you're really craving some lomo saltado & you want something nearby than this is the place to go, but this isn't a must try, very average Peruvian food & sushi.

Food is a hit or miss depending for a specific plate for now, the new owner has removed pollo la brasa which takes the purpose of becoming a Peruvian restaurant in general, their tallarin was ordered 3 times and here’s what was gathered between all three plates1. Taste is amazing , portion is way smaller then most restaurants but I understand, it’s business.2. They serve you soup and salad with chopped fresh orange which is nice to have and also a green spice that adds a kick to your plate.3. The plates are either very juicy towards the bottom of the plate or it’s very dry which makes the tallarin (noodles) very dry and have no flavor. Conclusion: place is amazing with the new color scheme but again, for the price of three plates and beverages, the flavor can improve and so can the portion, the free sides are just light meals that not many will consume.

Higo Express is a Japanese Peruvian fusion restaurant located in a shopping center. They have a few tables inside for dining. I usually get their half rotisserie chicken plate with a salad and steamed garlic rice. The chicken is juicy and very flavorful. I love their green sauce. The sauce is creamy and has a spice. They also have a salmon salad that has a tasty and refreshing dressing. I normally get takeout from here a couple of times a month. I believe they will be having new management soon, so the menu and prices may change. Customer service is good. I like being able to place the order on the phone and pick it up within 15 to 20 minutes. They always ensure that sauces, napkins, and utensils are included before giving you the food. I'm looking forward to more visits.

The teriyaki chicken was cold . If I didn’t ask for rice, they won’t bring it out that rice is included. It was overpriced.

Well, I was expecting a bit more Asian influence but it was more of a "different vibe and flavors were not what I was expecting. Not a bad things just not my thing. Music was a bit too loud... and bathrooms were not attended well. No TP/Toilet seat covers. Service was on par...

Love love love Higo Express! It's become a staple lunch spot for me. I always get the Fillet Mignon Chaufa (fried rice) and the Causa (which is like a potato/avocado/fish or crab appetizer with amazing sauce). It's a great spot for takeout, you can actually call in advance and get the food ready for you to pick up. When I'm craving sushi, I get the Animal, which is like a California roll with fried onions and sauce... soo good! You can get a half portion roll if you're not super hungry, but I would recommend the full roll since it's so tasty. The service is usually pretty quick if it's not busy, but the food will take maybe 10ish min or more to come out since they make it fresh. It's a pretty local spot. Not too noisy, but parking can be a challenge sometimes, since it's in a busy plaza.

My Experience: I got togo Ordering: I called in my order. Quick and simple. The employee that took the call was friendly and easy to understand. A tidbit. A couple nights ago, I was going to place an order via their website one night, but noticed that not everything was available (i.e. specialty rolls). When I asked about this in store, they mentioned that items that they are sold out of or are not making would be disabled on the website. Picking up: It wasn't very busy when I went to pick up. The process was typical and simple. A friendly attendant was at the register who greeted me and checked me out. The restaurant was clean. Food: I ordered the Salmon Mango Roll and Beef Tallarin Saltado. The salmon didn't quite look like the photos online. The salmon was cute into cubes with a cube of mango on top and a drop of hot sauce (probably siracha) on top. It tasted fine. I really enjoyed the mango flavor with the salmon with the typical california roll taste. The color of the salmon wasn't very deep (so was a little concerned about the quality and freshness), but then again I knew going in this isn't a typical Japanese sushi restaurant. But I had no issues (no bad stomach).. so I'm assuming it's fresh enough. The Beef Tallarin was delicious. I was suprised that the noodles had a slipperiness similar to home cooked Barilla thick spaghetti. Definitely cooked more al dente. Conclusion: I'd recommend it. Have low expectations. It's not a fancy restuarant. It's a simple quick eat with decent tasting food.

First time checking out this place. Came since I'm Peruvian and they sell not just sushi's but Peruvian dish. When I walk in here the location and scenery is very nice. It's like they mixed the design with Japan and Peru culture. That was good. The people were nice, and were quick to help us order . I got me the Llomo Saltado and ima give the Llomo Salrado a 4/5. Everything was amazing . The taste of the meat, onions, fries and rice were good. The only down side is the portion is not enough. If they made the portion much more bigger, than it is a complete 5/5. Over all its soooo good!! I'm returning Forsure. Recommend it to everyone.
