Delicious vegan food!! Saw the good ratings and a vegetarian friend said, "It's the BOMB!" And it really is! Tried the fried oyster mushrooms (addictive!), hot and sour soup (legit), eggplant with basil (I could eat the whole plate), lettuce cups (so tasty), and General Tso's "chicken". While not quite like chicken, it tasted good and everything was well made. The restaurant itself is spacious, with plenty of room. It's at the upstairs corner of the shopping center. The lady who served us was nice, and there's even a robot that delivers things to you while it plays Kenny G, keeping things chill. If you want good vegetarian/vegan options, House of Fortune is a must!

This is one of those places where there isn't much to the ambiance, but the service and the food make you realize you don't need any of that. They have managed to stay true to the traditional flavors and create something delicious to such a degree that I will eat until it hurts both physically and emotionally. The orange chicken is truly next level and can stand on its own without so much as a grain of rice, but I naturally ate my weight in rice as well. The baked fish was also amazing and they didn't some sort of witchcraft to create the skin and make it crispy. We also had the spciy dumplings and I would love to tell you that I shared them with my partner and daughter who were with me, but I didn't and I feel nothing.

Their fried oyster mushrooms are to die for. The restaurant is tucked away in the plaza near GW Supermarket, so it's a bit difficult to find, it's on the second floor.

This is my favorite vegan restaurant ever. I love everything I've had at this restaurant, especially the oyster mushroom dish. The prices are a bit too expensive, so every time I come here it has to be a special occasion. I'm thankful that there's a plant-based restaurant that offers me my favorite Chinese dishes

Such a clean tasting cuisine. The staff are amazing, great service. After living in Taiwan and being a vegan here in LA, this place is 11/10. You will not be disappointed. My stomach is grumbling for their food now just thinking about it.

Always happy to find a great vegan spot! We loved the wontons and the orange chicken was delicious. The place is a bit overpriced and they're unwilling to make any modifications which was inconvenient. We had 1 entre, two drinks, and an appetizer for $50.The decor has hospital cafeteria vibes.

Not a fan of this place. Skimpy portions and waitress Wendy has a bad attitude as mentioned below. They require 18% tacked on to all your meals, give tables away even with reservation, and the food is just okay. We reserved a table, how can they just give it away? I think they were Mom and Pop before but now that they have 2 locations they have completely changed their customer service attitude. I would try Happy Family in the 99 Ranch plaza or Green Green Trees for a more pleasant and tastier option. You'll walk out happier and healthier, since House of Fortune tends to be on the oilier side, as well!

This place was super busy on LNY day. We made a reservation for Lunar New Year but they gave away our table (by accident according to them). We had to wait another hour to get our table. Their service is so slow there with only 3-4 staffs including the boss lady. Ambiance - White wall with bright white ceiling lights and no music. Service - Just ok. They're SUPER slow. I counted 14 tables and only 3 tables were eating. The rest arwaiting including us. Food - Delicious. We really enjoyed all of their food. We ordered - Crispy bean sauce fish Sesame crispy fish Oyster mushroom Sausage and tofu pot Cha Shao Green beans Vinegar shredded potatoes Pee shoots Sweet and sour soup

Loved my Orange Chicken!! I’ve gone vegan recently and am always on the lookout for food I used to eat in vegan form and House of Fortune Vegan Cuisine’s orange chicken knocked it out of the park! The dish was fresh, crunchy, with the perfect texture for chewing in a delicious orange, spicy sauce without the normal vegan restaurant high prices. The restaurant is modern and clean. The staff is incredibly kind. This place it tucked away on the second floor of a big strip mall. Just take the closet elevator to the sidewalk up one floor and you’re there. Don’t miss out on this great place especially if you’re like me and looking for some reminiscent vegan options of food you no longer eat because you don’t want to eat animal products but still love.Vegetarian options: The whole menu is veganParking: Plenty of parking in a HUGE strip mall.Kid-friendliness: A family with three kids sat next to me. They seemed to really enjoy their food.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator leads up to the restaurant and there are no stairs to the restaurant or in it.

It has been a while since I've been here in person! I've ordered food from here once or twice for delivery after they changed and re-did the inside. The place looks clean and nice now! Has a simple look to it, nothing exciting but good for a mid-sized group since they have the space for it. Service: Our waitress and waiters were friendly! Checked up on us a few times to see if we were liking the food or wanted anything else. Food: Even before they changed, I always thought the food was very delicious and they have a good variety to choose from! The flavors are excellent. While I do wish prices were lower, I've come to expect prices on the higher side for any vegetarian/vegan food. Veggie poached chicken - So good! I wasn't sure what to expect but the cilantro ginger mixture they piled on top was so flavorful! They weren't shy with it at all and I really appreciate it. This was excellent on its own but would be amazing with maybe a simple veggie broth rice or coconut water rice? Would make a great pairing. General Tso Mushrooms - The sauce was a nice sweet and sour taste and wasn't too gloopy. I sometimes have a problem with cornstarch used to thicken sauces because people get too heavy handed. This had a nice consistency and the fried mushrooms still had a decent crisp to them. Veggie Crispy Chicken - A perfect snack type dish that is an easy crowd pleaser. I'm a dip kind of girl and started to crave a mayo or ketchup side or a sweet chili to dip these in! I could down a bunch of these crispy nuggets while mindlessly watching some videos. Meat Bun (Chinese Taco) - Quite savory and juicy! It's a satisfying hand-held dish. It has a subtle herb/jalapeño flavor to it. I liked it but felt like it needed a little something else. Maybe a cilantro lime aioli or something akin to that to give it some depth. I'd probably order this only for take-home next time so I could add my own sauce! Overall, there wasn't much to complain about for me. The dishes and drinks I had were all good.
