I've been to Mo-Mo Paradise in Arcadia, so coming to this location felt pretty much the same. Make sure to have reservations or they'll turn you away if they're full, even if you walk in, hoping to take a spot of a canceled reservation. When we arrived for Saturday dinner at 7:30 pm, they were already turning away walk-ins. We waited about 10 minutes before we were seated.

Weekend dinner is $34.95 per person, with the option to add the unlimited drink garden for $2.55 extra. We got our go-to broths of shabu-shabu and tonkotsu (we found the dashi gets saltier as the meal progresses). We ordered our initial rounds of everything except the pork belly and chicken thigh, and then repeated orders for our favorites: the lean beef eye of round and the beef chuck eye. The meat pairs well with the curry and steamed rice offered by the vegetables and fish/meat balls in the farmer's market area.

Favorite thing of the night was definitely the ice cream, which you can get as much as you want. We ordered a scoop of cookies and cream as well as the black cherry. Let me tell you, black cherry ice cream was SO GOOD and this was the only time I've ever had it! In all the times I've dined at Mo-Mo in Arcadia, never had they ever had black cherry. That alone would make me return to this location now.

They add an 18% service charge to every table, no matter your size. Plenty of parking in the plaza!

We came here for my dads birthday. the restaurant looks clean via their recent vermin shut down from infestation. The vegetable variety seems to have expanded more, but the soda machine seems to keep making odd shaking sounds. However, i really REALLY hope this business will consider switching their fish cake supplier. Most of the fish tofu, fish cakes, and fish balls have a strong fishy aftertaste to them. Either the fishcakes are not fresh or they are being stored improperly.

It's been years since I've been back to Mo-Mo Paradise. We use to go because the meat selection was thinly sliced and prefect for shabu. To be honest, I was abit disappointed. The short rib was cut too think so it came out too chewy. Now you have to pay for their drink bar. Their salad/veggie bar is still the same at least. Homemade ponzu was a bit salty. We got the split soup: tonkotsu and sukiyaki base. Tonkotsu was delicious but the sukiyaki was so salty I had to go to the drink bar and add water to dilute the soup. They offer wagyu beef for extra but we opted out so we can try their regular menu. I was not impressed but the meat since I was really disappointed w how thick the meat came out. That's why I couldn't give them a 5 star. I've had better at places that had cheaper price. Overall I don't know if I could see myself coming back. It's too bad as it was once of my favorite places to go before.

The staff at this momo paradise displayed an arrogant and condescending demeanor towards the customers. We had made a reservation and designated a specific table for Father’s Day due to a personal memory. Despite arriving early, they reserved that table for a larger party. We understood and politely requested a similar table across which was empty. However, they refused, stating that they were reserving that table for another party arriving much later. Consequently, we were left waiting for an extended period, observing numerous empty tables that were intended for customers after our reservation time.
The staff’s attitude was consistently unfriendly and impatient, as if they disregarded our business and prioritized serving larger parties that generate higher revenue. Furthermore, the shift supervisor demonstrated rudeness by failing to accommodate special requests for individuals with large and tall stature. Additionally, the supervisor embarrassed us and placed us in an uncomfortable situation in front of other guests.
We were profoundly disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, which ultimately tarnished our Father’s Day celebration. We believe that the staff’s actions were unacceptable, and this restaurant should not be patronized.

We were asked to choose our ice cream flavor, but then left waiting for around 20 minutes without any update. After we reminded the staff, the ice cream was finally brought to our table. However, just five minutes later, another staff member came and urged us to leave. Food is good and of high quality. But overall experience felt rushed and disorganized, which was quite disappointing.

The deal for all you can eat here is delicious! The vegetables are fresh and the extra drink option is worth it if you like boba. Even though the soups are good, the curry is even better.

Me and my family went at lunch and the meat quality was very good. My server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The service was top notch and quick. Their broth is not too salty and had the perfect flavor. I highly recommend the short plate and the chuck eye as these are perfect balanced piece of meat. The drink bar have over 12 different drinks with boba, jelly, and red beans. I also loved the Wagyu curry with rice. Their sauce bar and food bar have a lot of variety and is very fresh. I would come back again.

Came here today, March 29 with my daughters. I thought I had reservation at 1pm and turned out I made a mistake and the reservation we had was for Mira Mesa location. But the young gentleman saw host at the front was very helpful and he found us a table because someone no showed. Food was great, love the salad, vegetables and condiments bar. Their self serve drink bar is also great with different selections of tea and topping options. Price is reasonable for the quality and amount of food.

Make sure reserve your seat before 1-2hours. But it’s worth it for waiting. Service is good and foods are tasty.
