Here for their famous Black Bean Noodle and house special chicken (marinated chicken with cucumber). Very nice combo for two people while the jajangmyeon is one of the best in town if you are craving for black bean noodles and the portion of the chick is very generous for the price. Not a fancy restaurant but the one you will keep coming back.

The two of us ordered Shandong roast chicken, ants climbing a tree and noodles with soy sauce. Except for the chicken, the other two flavors were substandard. Ants climbing tree vermicelli should use mung bean vermicelli, such as Shandong Longkou. The vermicelli now used is potato starch vermicelli. The latter turns into a pile of vermicelli when heated, without the texture of vermicelli. In addition, there is very little diced pork. I don’t know why this dish is called this because the diced pork is all over the vermicelli. As many as ants. There is not much minced meat, which affects the flavor of the dish. The problem is the same with noodles with soy sauce. We only got thick paste and no flavor at all.

The food is good, but portions have no comparison to Mama Lu which gives customers a lot of food for the money. Prices on the menu had been hiked twice recently.

The food is amazing. So many delicious options. Our family has been going here for 30 years. It management and the quality dropped, but has since recovered. I highly recommend the steamed pork potstickers, gyoza (fried potstickers), seasoned cucumbers, onion pancakes, beef roll, mushu pork, and hot & sour soup. The service is typical of a Asian restaurant. Straight to the point and no fluff chatter before hand. Just be ready to order.Kid-friendliness: Yes. If they like Chinese food.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

I have been here over 10 years now. Their food are consistent and service is not as good as before. But still better than some other Chinese restaurant. We love their pan fry dumplings, green onion pancake and braised beef noodles with soup. Matter of fact, we only order these dishes. Because they are our favorite dishes. Their prices went up since pandemic but still a reasonable price.

Always great food here. Onion pancake is the best I've had in southern California. Lots of choices on the menu and authentic tastes. We live far away but we go at least once a month to treat ourselves. Price is very reasonable too.Vegetarian options: Lots of veneration options.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to kids. They give kids special dining ware too.Wheelchair accessibility: On the ground floor. No steps to reach the restaurant.

My family has eaten here for a while. We love their puff shrimp in a sweet and spicy sauce, pot stickers, and sweet and sour soup. The beef onion pancake roll is pretty tasty but the pancake to beef ratio is too high. The cucumber salad and veggie dumplings — ok but can pass. All in all a very solid place and recommend going. I would give a 4.5 if I could.

The restaurant is still open, which is surprising because it's been 8 years since my last visit. My family and I placed our order for the Steamed Round Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao), Beef Roll, House Chicken, Seafood Fried Rice, Noodle with Soy Bean Sauce, Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, and Jelly Fish with Flavor. Every dish is prepared quickly, and the service is exceptional. I must say that the taste is still the same, still flavorful, and still delicious! It makes sense why this restaurant is so busy and crowded and must be visited for food!

I've always been a fan of Earthen's house special chicken and jellyfish so we brought some friends. Same food, but without the lines. We've dined here previously, but I'm sad to report that things have gone downhill and the owner just doesn't care anymore. We watched in disgust as she sat at the podium pulling out nose hairs for about 10 minutes before going to take the next guest's order. If that doesn't tell you that she has no respect for her patrons, I don't know what will. Not to mention how extremely unsanitary that is as well. The food itself was okay, but not at the level of our previous visits. The house chicken was dry (even the dark meat). The best thing was the jellyfish and eggplant. I was bummed since our friends drove from Irvine to dine with us. We won't be back.
