Amazing food, even better service The restaurant interior was amazing and gives off a great atmosphere. The garlic shrimp and the sweet and sour pork is a must when you're eating out with friends and family.

After trying out multiple Korean Chinese restaurants for the past 6 years, I can now claim this as my favorite Korean Chinese restaurant in SoCal. Came here for lunch with the husband and ordered 3 dishes: gan jajjangmyun, kan poong shrimp, and chicken tang soo yook. All three dishes were made perfectly and thats a rare occurrence in all the Korean Chinese restaurants I've tried so far! The shrimp was succulent and fried perfectly with a light but flavorful sauce on top of it. Although the dish states it's spicy, its not spicy at all. The tang soo yook was also fried to a nice crispy texture with the sauce served on the side. Chicken wasn't dry. The sauce wasn't over sweet and wasn't too goopy or soupy. The jajjangmyun noodles were perfectly chewy and sauce wasn't over salty or bland. The best part was after the meal, I didn't experience any headaches or stomachache! One downside is that the kimchi was on the over fermented side but still edible and I prefer their Korean style kimchi over the Chinese style kimchi. Service was good but I also came in when it was after the lunch rush. Got to interact with the owner who seemed nice. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Finally decided to take a chance after driving by this "let's try it next time" place multiple times wondering how the experience would be. Tried the "multiple seafood combination" that was surprisingly good and the REAL "jelly fish." Not sure why somebody posted a photo of another dish claiming it to be Jellyfish (owner said many people seem to be confused by it). Food was amazing and will definitely come back to try their so many other menu options.

Been going to New Garden for over 20+ years...but I have to say this restaurant is just as good! It tastes a bit cleaner. Found it on Yelp and just dined there with my family of 7. We had 4 different dishes + 2 different noodles and they all tasted great. I'm regretting not taking any pictures to show. I'm guessing it's the owner and his wife perhaps who served us and they were both great in customer service. They made sure we were taken care of and we had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely come back again next time!

We always go to New Garden and have so for years, so definitely was a different experience. I would say the food here tastes "cleaner" than other local Chinese-Korean restaurants. I didn't feel as tired and sleepy after compared to the others. The noodles they used for the jjajangmyeon and jjampong here are good. However, the star of the show was the Salt/Pepper shrimp that the owner recommended. It was about 12 huge shrimps fried and seasoned very well. 5 stars just for the shrimp , although he said it is currently the season for shrimp so I'd ask for a recommendation if you're coming after season is over. The interior seems newly remodeled and I like the modern/traditional Asian feel it has. There are huge private rooms in the back for gatherings/families and the owner was very attentive and friendly. Will come back soon!

Korean Chinese cuisine that opened just a little over a year ago is a hidden gem. The owners speak both Korean and Mandarin in addition to English for anyone who needs some help ordering their favorite dishes. Our group of six wanted to try this place out because they were craving some Korean style jajangmyeon. We went pretty hungry and went a little crazy by ordered 5 other dishes on top of the four bowls of JJM. First off, the "Jelly Fish" dish was a surprise because it is so much more than its name. A giant dish (it comes in two sizes) with flat mung bean noodle, fried egg stripes, bell pepper, carrots, green onion, wood ear, & onions. There may be more ingredients but these were the ones I remembered. WARNING: this dish has a subtle wasabi taste that can clear any stuffed nostril. But if that's not spicy enough for you, it comes with a condiment container of yellow spicy mustard that you can level up your dish with. Use sparingly because it's spicy. I downed a lot of tea to help with the heat. The star of our meal was the flavorful Prawns with tomato chili sauce. If we didn't order so much food already, I would've placed another order. Good thing they are generous with the their white rice because the sauce goes great with it. We definitely asked for a refill on rice. Next is the Korean style sweet and sour pork. This is different from the Chinese style where the freshly fried pork is served without the sauce. The sweet and sour sauce is served on the side for you to dip or spoon a generous portion over your pork. This way, you can keep the crunch of the fried pork and each person can decide how much sauce they want. But that is followed by the Mongolian beef, which deserves a shoutout for its yummy flavor. That would be my third favorite out of all the dishes. Sadly, we came too close to closing time so many of the vegetable options were out. We ended up with Yu Chai cooked with a generous portion of green onion and coated with green onion oil. It's good to get some greens but this is definitely a little heavier than your normal blanched dish. I know you are wondering why I haven't talked about the four bowls of jajangmyeon but that's because I am actually not a big fan of the Korean style and prefer the Chinese style. My friends seemed to enjoy it and my Korean boyfriend is making this his new JJM spot. So hopefully you guys like it because I wouldn't know if it's good or not even if I had it. The owner was super sweet and attentive. We got refills of rice and tea promptly. The space can easily accommodate groups of different sizes and they also have private rooms if you need that sort of setup. So check it out!

I had been craving jjajangmyun for the past two weeks and my brother had come down from San Jose for my birthday weekend so our family decided on Peking for dinner. I was so disappointed. The jjampong literally had no flavor, but a prominent gochuraru flavor (think of boiling some seafood and dumping guchuraru for flavor) and that's exactly what it tasted like. (Mom took a chopstick full of noodles and put it right back, no more was eaten) We also order jjajangmyun and it was meh at best. It was had no smokiness, bland and lacking flavor. Lajogi was dry.... just everything was wrong. So we asked the owner if they have a new chef. He ensured us that it's the same chef, but I don't know... it was just completely off. What made everything worse was the owner. When we told him about the food, he was really nonchalant and said everything was same as before. To make the long story short, my family will not be returning to Pecking after this disaster.

While looking for a Korean Chinese restaurant, I found it and placed an order. While eating at home, I discovered something shocking. There was mold growing in the middle of the food to the extent that I doubted whether I was seeing it correctly. I've heard that they'll do a good job if I visit again such as credit, but I don't want to go back.Be carefull when you eat food here.
