The Pirate Seafood BBQ 해적 조개구이

I’d say the food was tasty and fresh and the place is spacious. I would suggest the servers put a smile on their face and let us know when the seafood is ready to eat once they are so we don’t keep wondering/asking and keep looking at the food on the grill. The seafood got burnt a couple of times because they didn’t come back for it but that was ok because it was just rare occasion. However, they were still attentive to our needs, thanks to them.

Overall a fantastic experience. We were looking for a classic, Korean seafood BBQ experience and we got it here. I personally am not a big seafood person but I enjoyed the eel and noodle soup (kalguksoo) that comes with the set menus.

My partner (who does enjoy seafood) LOVED the silver set menu that included clams, oysters, shrimp, corn cheese and more. The pricing seemed fairly reasonable and we got the silver set (comes with clams, oysters, shrimp, corn cheese, steamed egg etc.), one order of the eel and a couple of drinks for $170 pre-tax.

A pirate themed restaurant where they offers variety of seafood menu! A gem waiting to be discovered, I found out from a friend’s recommendation and was not disappointed. Loved the service they provide, they cook everything for you and all you have to do is eat. The menu B or the gold tier came with good enough to fill two people, I loved the pirate ship decoration of the food. The food tastes great with their sauces. One of the best Korean seafood restaurant in Rowland.

Very delicious Korean grilled seafood, very fresh! We had a set meal for 2-3 people and ordered steamed egg and vegetable pancakes. They were both very delicious. Their ingredients are so fresh!

The scallops exploded while baking and splashed on our faces. The waiter said with a nonchalant attitude that there was nothing we could do, this kind of thing would happen. But this was the first time it was splashed on a guest’s face. Didn't you even apologize when something so dangerous happened? The waiter's attitude was disgusting.

I feel like the previous comments were submitted by friends/family.

I was very disappointed that there weren't more options, to have a Korean BBQ grill with mainly clams as the main option. Definitely not what we expected!

NOT KID FRIENDLY, maybe okay for a date night but make sure you have something in your stomach before going to just eat seafood. They did not have steamed rice. My son just wanted some rice to eat with the seafood.

I guess they tried to make the servers more hands on but I felt like it was very intrusive sitting in the booth with my family of 4 with the server at the end of the table majority of the time. I had his/her elbow in my face while I was trying to enjoy my food.

There was only one light bulb facing the grill so everytime they leaned over to cook or cut the food. It was just dark! I would have much preferred cooking for myself. They should ask if they want the extra help to cook your food.

They offered potatoes as an option that we NEVER got to, so I'm sure they just recycled for the next guest since it was all wrapped in foil and hard as a rock still, how can you expect to cook raw potatoes on a grill within the hour?

I don't feel like the experience was worth it. I still had to go get my kids fast food after this experience.

Kid-friendliness: NOT KID FRIENDLY. NO OPTIONS FOR KIDS NOT EVEN JUST STEAMED RICE

typical korean style seafood grill. scallop was really good. grilled eel was ok. noodle was ok. wouldve been better if they had really good kimchi. service was good. atmosphere was good.
