Great service and food. Got the 2 person combo. Plenty of food for 2 and they also help you cook the food. It's perfect with you want to eat seafood bbq rather than all the meet. Clams are delicious grilled via charcoal.

This is a fantastic place for Korean seafood bbq. There is another place like this in Monterey Park called Clam House and the food and style are exactly the same. But this place has so much more space and they use their AC to keep it cool for patrons. So much better here. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes it's fast but last time we came, food came out very slow. Steamed egg and cheese corn and Korean pancake sides were all delicious. Good amount of food with all the grilled seafood, noodles, and sides.

Bad service. Environment suck. Server ignore us all the time. No refill water at all.

Awesome food, great service. My family had a Gold combo and the combo was plentiful and sea food was super fresh and delicious. So glad to find the awesome Korean seafood that I don't have to drive to LA Ktown any more! Highly

My family was craving for good Korean seafood and wanted to give this place a try. We are so GLAD we tried this place! We had Gold combo for three people - seafood was super fresh and delicious and enougj for the family of three! From the appetizer (avalone porridge is served as a appetizer) all the way to the noodle they serve at the end, there is no single dish I did not like about. I cannot rave about this place enough. Will definitely come back and now I know this place, I don't have to drive all the way to Ktown in LA for awesome Korean seafood any more! Highly recommend!

A great upgrade to the old wudi kebab. Too many skewer places in Rowland area so it was nice to have a "new" kind of restaurant in the area. Very thankful I don't need to drive all the way to k-town to get my seafood bbq fix. The price wasn't bad for all the food offered. Seafood was all very fresh and didn't even have to worry about cooking. We got the $199 combo and we were not disappointed with the amount and variety of seafood offered.Staff was super attentive and would cook everything perfectly. They even matched the pace we ate at which was a bonus. Will definitely be back and I recommend people try this place.

Pirate Korean Seafood BBQ isn't a quick place to eat since time is needed to cook everything on the charcoal grill. It's a great spot to catch up, and hang out with a group of friends. No reservations and have to walk in to put your name on the waitlist. Friday night was busy but most of their tables were for groups of 4+ so we waited for about 45 minutes. Let time bypass and shop since it's in a shopping plaza and can go to the 99c store to look around. We ordered the Diamond Tier and it was perfect for my group of 5! We left happy and content. On the table they have sauces for you to dip: soy garlic sauce, chili garlic paste (spicy!) and a ssam dipping sauce. All were very good with the fresh seafood. They start you off with the cooked sides: steamed egg, mussel soup, pancake, sashimi and corn cheese, while prepping for the grill. All the sides were so good! My favorite was the corn cheese and sashimi, but when you share the sashimi, they don't give a lot - it just has a lot of sauce. They make the charcoal in the kitchen so it takes some time for it to be brought on the table. Once it arrives, they start cooking items for you. They place the potato and sweet potato in the charcoal to cook while the seafood cooks. Seafood was cooked in batches and stand out to me were the mussels, cherry stone clams, oysters and scallops. Seafood was super fresh! They come back to check in a timely manner and would place the cooked items on the side for you to eat. Simultaneously, they were also cooking the spicy octopus soup and mushroom/scallop soup. The octopus was super spicy so beware! Last was the lobster and I was surprised to see all the green bile, but after some Google search, I was relieved. The only part worth eating was the lobster tail because everything else was hard to crack/pick at. The meal ended with some kalguksu and it was a refreshing/pepper broth similar to the mussel soup in the beginning. Overall, no rush and service was 100%! I also found my new favorite drink: Peach Makgeolli, give it a try! I don't like hard liquor and this was a perfect pairing with the seafood. Dine and take your time. A wonderful place to catch up with friends and enjoy a meal. I highly recommend! Cheers!

Service was good. Charcoal fire was high. All the clams open up in a very short period of time.

Very fresh seafood, great service, and wonderful atmosphere. My partner and I had a great time and the servers were very attentive to us and made sure our seafood was well cooked. All flavors were perfectly balanced and we did not feel heavy afterwards. Everything was very well washed and we loved the whole experience. Definitely a labor of love

We set out to raid some seafood..off we go...we ordered the Pearl & The Diamond. FYI this is not kid friendly..but I brought my kids anyways. They cook for you but they give you gloves so you can grab the seafood without burning yourself. It's a fun experience where you can grab a beer and see your food cook in front of you. The lobster came seamed already and they jst warm up on the grill. There's a reg potato and sweet potato cooked under your grill as a dessert. Not particularly goes with the meal but a way to fill you up. There's not much sauce beside the punzu sauce & sambal chilli paste & gochjang which was good but wish they had more option? Over all was a good experience

Everything here was fantastic! The service was fabulous, the seafood was wonderful - not covered by sauces and unnecessary flavors, just delicious, fresh seafood! We will return as soon as we can!

Our party of two endured a surprisingly long wait, over 1.5 hours, even though we were third on the list. I'd caution against waiting if the waitlist is bustling and you're hungry. Opted for the silver treasure box set, intended for three, which included steamed eggs, corn cheese, Korean pancake, and salad. While the food was decent and fulfilling, it didn't reach spectacular heights. The set also included noodle soup, but unfortunately, we were already full before the end of our meal. On a positive note, they do cook the seafood for you. Overall, a good experience, but be mindful of the wait and your hunger level before diving in.

Love this place... so local!!! love all of it except for the long wait but now I understand why.. it's worth the wait if you are a seafood lover. everything tasted fresh! They also served soju and beer!!! Ordered the Silver treasure box and it was plenty for two people. When we thought we were done, they surprised us w/ a hot noodle soup that's so tasty. I will definitely comeback and will bring friends and families.. you have to try this place. we usually would drive to Ktown for this type of food, now it's in our neighborhood!!! Lastly, servers were kind and patient... Highly recommending!!!
