We had dinner at the Garden Grove location tonight and it was awesome!! Great food and service and ambiance. We will definitely go back with the entire family !

Been a semi regular of thirsty cow for many years. Overall the meat quality has stayed consistent. Their prices for the premium menu has increased a lot over the years. All the good beef options are in the premium selection.
At the particular visit my only comment is about the service. We had 2 waiters helping us. It’s a little bit tiresome having to ask for the same item multiple times, several times. Some condiments do not get put into the iPad I think and the server has to just remember. And one of our servers keep forgetting, such as to refill the kimchi, more onions, more turnip paper.
However thirsty cow generally has attentive service as I don’t have to request grill changes, they know when to come. The servers are also very good about coming to take more meat orders as you place your last plate of meat on the grill.
I’ll definitely still come back from time to time.

If I have to ask every time for a rwfill,more rice, to even have my grill changed.. multiple request. But you expect a good tip. I'm cooking the food. Wasn't even busy . Food was great service was really bad this time.

2nd visit was better than the 1st as we were better prepared and knew what to order and expect.
Good quality meat and food in what was likely an old Chili's restaurant located near the Costco. I suggest paying the $54 to get the hand cut short ribs (our favorite) and a larger selection of beef items .. including steaks.
As others noted, service was great... friendly and efficient. The two girls serving our area frequently walked back and forth along the central dining aisle with eyes scanning the tables to check the tables. They would promptly ask if we were ready to order the next round of dishes. And meat dishes would arrive about 5 minutes after the order was placed.
One suggestion is to dip the almost cooked beef or pork in the dipping sauce and hot sauce and then put it back on the grill for a minute or so to let the sauces caramelize. The taste is sublime.
I would avoid the belly cuts if you can because the high fat content makes you feel full quickly and suddenly. That was my my experience
There are about 10 or more Korean BBQ places in the Rowland heights area. Not all are AYCE and some have better quality of meat. They're also more expensive for what you get.
Overall, Thirsty Cow is our favorite in terms of value, quality, service and atmosphere. We will pay another visit the next time we're in the area.

Don't go here if your child has a restricted diet specially if you have a child on the spectrum.Bad service I asked if they had friend kid options they said no . I seen the restaurant and told the host oo it's ok I see the other parents have snacks for their kids . People had cakes also . So I told the host to put us on the wait list I was going to feed my child outside since it's almost a two hour wait . When I went back my kid had his empty cup and saved left over snack the host was rude and yelled no outside food the kid can't touch anything . I had to explain to this ignorant that my kid has a restricted diet and he already ate he note eating . She proceeded yelling asking what's in the plate I told her a slice of left over pizza . These people are on hinge . How do they expect families to wait a two hour wait and not have snacks for their kids. The rude host yelled back and said they were going to ask the manager and yelled the kids can't touch any foods. I'm just baffled because this ignorant I had told her my son was going to eat outside during the long wait. Manager came and almost laugh when I told him my kid only eats pizza . Then I had to tell him be mindful of some families because some kids have meal restrictions doesn't mean healthy . I had to go into an entire explanation some minors can only eat certain texture food.his host is so rude even when my child asked if they have ice cream she told him he can go to gens. It's the 5 foot host with the crooked nose
