Wagyu House by The X Pot

If you are obsessed with Chinese hotpot and also kind of a wagyu snob who can taste the difference between American vs Australian Wagyu, be sure to try this place out. Only top-of-the-line premium meats make the cut here. There’s a membership program for loyal customers that offer a discount with every visit. Presentation is stellar and the salad/sauce bar is well maintained. This is not AYCE, it’s a la carte so choose wisely as a lunch can become rather expensive.

We came to X Pot Wagyu House Chicago to celebrate a graduation and it couldn’t have been a better choice. I had the Silver Wagyu set a pretty good deal for the quality. The meat was incredible, and the tartare and seared wagyu nigiri were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion, and our server Ting made the experience even better super helpful, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. Definitely worth it.

Wagyu House by X Pot offers a luxurious and theatrical hot pot experience. The A5 wagyu is unbelievably tender, the broths are rich and flavorful, and every dish is beautifully presented.

What really stood out was our server, Ting. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations that made the meal even better. His service was flawless and made the whole evening feel special.

Love the broth and meat here. My favorite would be the golden chicken and the spicy mala one. Meat quality is super fresh with options of A5 Wagyu and regular wagyu meat.

Obviously, Wagyu House is the most fancy Hot Pot restaurant in LA. High quality meat, luxurious decoration, and great service too. We celebrated my brother’s birthday here.
5 people, $498.00, a little bit pricey, but every one was very satisfied.

Lots of waygu meat options for hotpot and the usual hotpot items like Halideo. The service was great. We ordered too much so it's better to go with more than 2 people so you can try more items. It does cost more than other places. For Waygu meat, you'll have to expect that.

I came here once to treat my little brother before he left for university, and the experience was incredible so I came here again for my own university graduation lunch with friends and family :] The experience is phenomenal and I loooove the atmosphere. The service was so kind and helped us through each step since the choices were overwhelming haha. The food was so good, even my friends who aren't used to Asian cuisine enjoyed the food here a lot!

The restaurant is rated as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in US by Yelp and is the only one in LA area. So, I decided to pay them a visit last week. My conclusion is that it is over-rated and also over priced. The only thing I like about the restaurant is the internal design. It is also quite spacious. The food is quite a disappointment. I ordered a spicy broth and my wife ordered a non-spicy one recommended by the waiter. Both of them are under the average. The wagyu beef is just ok not particularly impressed. The service is also just okay. I will not go back and will not recommend it. I will also never trust Yelp 's rating again.

Enjoyed my lunch here at Wagyu House! Staff was courteous and explained the ordering system. The meat quality was excellent, broth was delicious, plus the sauce bar gives you freedom to mix your own dipping sauce.

Great selection of soups and sauces, and overall fresh ingredients. Not to mention, great service from Andy, who took special care of us. Highly recommend trying!
