I ordered pancakes to take home to my brother, and the hostesses acknowledged me immediately upon entering, keeping me in sight as I waited despite their busy atmosphere.
Having a good experience at a restaurant is significantly impacted by the demeanor and personality of your waiter/waitress. In this day and age, it seems like the good ones are outweighed by the bad ones.
But when you have a waiter that is so kind and personable, that they seem to just put a smile on your face, they need to be extra recognized. Even after my 2 year old made the mess of the century and spilled the entire water cup all over the table, the food and my lap, Jorge (at Dennys in Salida) jumped in and help handle the chaos with kindness, patience and the most “customer first” approach.
I don’t leave a lot of reviews myself, but I thought Jorge needed to be thanked and praised by more than just a handshake and a tip.
If you ever go for a bite at this Dennys, see if you can sit in his section. He made us feel more welcomed than the average waiter/waitress do (not trying to say the others are lessor).

I just ate here the waiter said burger was $8 I asked him a second time he said yes!!! I ask him about what other free hot sauce he said pico de gallo!! I get a $15 bill manager needs to comb her hair act professional she told him off 2feet away from me and I am a customer!! She also told me I have to pay 9for burger because it is in an prit but my exact words to waiter is this is $8and he said yes!!! District managers need to check on the managers and employees more often!!!!!

I went to the Dennys in Salida today with my parents and received the absolute WORST service the woman who was the manager was so rude we asked for a booth she told us to wait then seated another family to a booth before us again told us to sit and wait idk what the problem was but I would recommend a different location if you're planning to go to Dennys

This is our favorite Denny's in the area because the food is always great and the service amazing! Thank you to Jorge and all the servers and cooks for the wonderful experiences!! I highly recommend coming in to try their holiday foods, they are so delicious.

Mac and cheese brisket really bad quality, it was very burnt and overcooked. Mac and cheese was very generic.
It took at least an hour to get our order and when we finally received it was cold and incorrect not properly cooked
