1st time and last time going here. The seafood chow mein was very fishy with gross scallops and shrimp, the fishiness permeated the veggies too. The texture of the chow mein noodle was more like spaghetti than typical chow mein. There was little meat and the chicken was gristly leg meat. The bbq pork egg foo Yung was ok, very different from egg foo Yung I've gotten at much better restaurants like Hong Kong on Carpenter Rd. They used a teriyaki sauce and canned peas and carrots with a little bit of diced onions. No gravy no cabbage. The lady who works there doesn't have the best English and misunderstands you so be prepared for that if you want poor quality Chinese food slop.

Golden Bowl Restaurant is an okay spot. I like the sweet and sour pork/chicken. The pot stickers are also good. They are fast and reliable, but not really delicious.
Don't know about the food, haven't tried it yet. The menu prices are not accurate, everything is $2-3 higher than listed. All receipts are tallied on a calculator, with no detail as to what was ordered, how much or even taxes. Got kind of pissy when I asked for a breakdown.
$35 for two item order with steamed rice...for only one person.
Ok, got home and unpacked the food and I am changing my review to 4 stars. First, Golden Bowl gives you a LOT of food. Enough to feed at least four adults. And it's very fresh; excellent!!! It's obvious the portions are for family-style serving. That said, I would suggest offering half orders, the criticism that they don't offer portions for single or even couples is justified. I would gladly pay $20 for half the food I just paid $35 for.
Still need to update the inaccurate menus and buy a cash register to detail the purchase. It just seems unethical. It might work in Asia, but not here. And don't get offended if someone questions the bill when your menu has the wrong prices and you provide no detail on the recept.

First off, do not take Ashley's F. 1 ⭐️ review serious. It sounds like a recovering addict & Drama Queen on a downward spiral. I've been eating here since the day they opened, and I never had a bad dish. Their food is always fresh, and the flavor is always consistent. Their establishment is always very clean, and I always get great service. It seems like their portion sizes have gotten a little smaller since covid, but that is pretty much everywhere nowadays.
