I love and miss pan dulce so much since going vegan…so once this place was on my radar I could not wait until I was in the area to check it out. We went crazy and bought several of the vegan options. They were all so delicious and the guy working there was so nice! They even had silk chocolate milk! I was in heaven! I will stop by every time I’m in town!
Love their vegan pan dulce! The only vegan pan that is in the area and still tastes authentic. Customer service is always friendly and prompt. I have tried a little bit of everything and have loved almost all of them. Sometimes their Conchas don't have the flavoring just right but typically do. Pricing is cheap considering they're vegan. They sell non vegan options as well in a separate cabinet.
As someone who grew up indulging in pan dulce created in little hole in the wall bakeries, I really missed it once going vegan. Conchas are one of my favorite treats and it is amazing to be able to have them again! Rich and just the perfect amount of sweet, the conchas produced by La Espiga de Oro are even better than I remember.
