The service and atmosphere were both quite nice, and the beef dumplings were really tasty. However, we came mainly for the crawfish rice bowl and were very disappointed — the flavor was bland and couldn’t cover the strong seafood taste of the crawfish. We ended up having to add salt just to finish it. The other dishes were fine, but nothing special.

The food is very impressive. The environment is friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for some southern style food.

Good food in a good setting. Easy to get to from the Holly Street exit on 101. For sure it is nice to have something different available.

New to the Bay Area and as southern belle I was truly impressed by the food along with the custom service. This establishment was family friendly. We came with our daughter and she had the mashed potatoes and chicken strips. Although not pictured, please take my word for it - She's a picky eater and she enjoyed their food! If you're ever in the area please check them out.

Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Food was delicious. The problem is my appetizer had a hair in it and the server took care of it. Then my entree had a hair in it, too. I didn’t even say anything because I didn’t want to be the “hair” guy. I didn’t take a pic of the appetizer hair(it was longer), but I took one of the entree

We ordered our food to go. We ordered shrimp and crawfish etoufee, short ribs with grits, pecan/cheesecake pie, and silk pie, and cornbread. We were staying at a nearby hotel, so we didn’t have far to drive. When we opened our food bag, our food was lukewarm/room temperature; my grits were so lumpy they were inedible; the pecan pie/cheesecake had melted into a pecan lump, and the serving sizes were a joke. For the anount of money we paid for our dinner, and what we received, to be served in an ice cream cup is shameful. To call yourselves a Creole restaurant is another shame, because if you know Creoles, we love to feed people and this was a disgrace.

Used to be one of our favorite places but sadly don't think we will be back. Went there for brunch for Fathers Day- the brunch menu was sad- 3 items. The jambalaya and eggs were bland and the serving sizes very small- just a small serving of rice with 2 eggs. That's it- no fruit, no cornbread, nothing. The wild mushroom jambalaya was terrible and super bland. The fried chicken was good but they put the gravy on top of the crisp fried chicken instead of the mashed potatoes..so odd. The staff was friendly but incredibly understaffed- they were hustling but they simply couldn't keep up. Very disappointing. They have really taken their eye off the ball and it's showing.

I come here often and it’s always a great experience! Really delicious food and drinks and the ambiance is nice. I like how it’s laid back and unassuming but the food is super good. I usually get the shrimp CreoLa or étouffée but I got the vegetarian soup this time which was very good too. Save room for beignets if you can!!

Sunday for brunch. Unfortunately not many people here and they are missing out. As a Georgia native a little new to the era inhale passed by Creole several times. With my Dad visiting in town we gave it a try. First off the only place in California to have sweet tea that inhale found and it was perfect. We both had the shrimp and crawfish etouffe, boudin balls then finished with bread pudding and without a doubt the best cheesecake I have had outside of my own. This place is a gem!
