The place was awesome - kind of small, very competent if not 100% engaging service, and good overall food. Folks loved the ravioli and the branzino. The calamari was chewy and I sent it back. Otherwise a great dinner! Abou $250 with tax and tip for 4 people, without drinks.

Food and Service are always second to none. A masterclass experience. Francesco, the owner also serenaded the restaurant with is musical skills as a trombonist.

Southern Italian cuisine. My two favorites are the cod and the pasta, each Calabrese style. The wine list has a very nice assortment of Italian wines, red and white. Service is always excellent. The restaurant is a gem.

Delizie is one of the best restaurants in San Carlos. Francesco, the owner, friendly, welcoming. and delightful to talk to.

Food was very good and the initial service was prompt. The clearing of the tables was a little slow though. Overall, I enjoyed my time and the food.  I will definitely return. 

Wonderful as always. My wife loved the carbonara. Our friends had the vongole and the asparagus ravioli and loved those. Francesco the owner recommended a “baby” Amarone which went great with our meals.

From start to finish, I was absolutely taking care of my family and I we had a big table and our needs were met every step of the way we felt like family. We walked in and we left in complete joy enjoying homemade authentic Italian cuisine. It was the best ever and the owner even Sam chatted with us for a bit now that's an amazing night.

We have eaten here many times over the years and for many different occasions and with diverse cultures, everyone was very pleased with the food and service.

Exceptional service and welcoming by owner and staff. Food was delicious, presented beautifully and appetizingly. Wonderful dining experience capped off by complimentary moscato...great touch!

I’m honestly shocked by the high ratings — this was one of the most disappointing Italian meals I’ve ever had. The carbonara was terrible, with an extremely strong pork flavor that completely overwhelmed the dish. My husband’s tagliatelle alla Bolognese was also disappointing, the sauce had an odd sweetness that didn’t belong. I was really looking forward to a good Italian dinner, but this was far from it. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

Excellent homemade Italian food. Everything was delicious and fresh! Fried calamari as app was fantastic, and we each enjoyed our pasta dishes. The desserts were delicious also! My favorite Italian Restaurant in San Carlos! Service is outstanding also!

All the food was delicious, pasta cooked well (al dente), good selection on the menu, and the staff were wonderfully kind. They even brought my son a bowl of ice cream, seeing he wouldn't have been able to have the tiramisu we ordered for dessert. My only reservation is that some of the dishes (apps and sides) are somewhat overpriced. Otherwise everyone, including my Italian family members, enjoyed their meal!

The food here is excellent—creamy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed every bite. However, I found the service disappointing. I hope the management will consider investing in more attentive and friendly staff, as good hospitality can really elevate the dining experience. As much as I loved the food, I’m not sure I’d want to return if the service doesn’t improve.

The ambience was great. I really enjoyed the live music. The focaccia and olive tapenade were delicious. I came for the Spaghetti alle Vongole and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend and also return, if I were visiting the area again.
