Elia in San Carlos is absolutely amazing. The service is exceptional — friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food was outstanding. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the seafood pasta with lobster was top-notch, and the octopus was perfectly cooked and delicious. The filet mignon literally melted in your mouth. The restaurant itself has beautiful decor and a wonderful Greek vibe that makes the whole experience feel special. What really touched us was the birthday card signed by the entire staff — such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that made the celebration even more memorable. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful meal at Elia! The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale while still feeling warm and welcoming. The service was attentive, kind, and made us feel comfortable the entire time.
The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Greek flavor. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The drinks and desserts were just as impressive and perfectly completed the amazing lunch we had.
My husband ordered the seafood pasta and it was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I had the lunch filet souvlaki, and the meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. You can truly taste the quality in every bite.
What made the visit even better is that the staff is very kid-friendly, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and there’s plenty of parking in the area, which makes it stress-free to visit.
We left happy, full, and already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the food but felt extremely rushed. The wait staff practically ran between the tables making us rush through our food.. Our reservations were at 6:45 and we were back at our car before 8pm. I guess that was ok because the noise level was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. The music in the bar thumped so loud and it carried through out the entire restaurant. I have been to the Pleasanton location a couple of times without any of the loud music issues.
The food is good but it is so overpriced. $18.00 for a butter lettuce salad is ridiculous.

Good is tasty and service is good. Among our table, we have ordered the seafood boubillase and the seafood was pretty fresh. The whole fish is good but can use a bit more salt. Lobster in the lobster pasta is very tender. Mushroom risotto taste is good but rice is overcooked. Service is good , ambience is nice but prove can be high for some.

Our party of Nine was lucky enough to get a semi private room with a door that closed because the music was so loud, we could hardly hear each other speak. Our servers were attentive and professional! The menu was full of items for everyone! Everyone had a great time and will definitely be back!
