The ice cream is not the best I’ve had, but still enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service really takes away from the overall experience. The staff were cold and dismissive, acting like helping customers was a burden. I felt like I was bothering them just by asking simple questions. If it had only happened once, I might have overlooked it, but after the second time, I’ve decided not to return. I really think the owner should take a closer look at how the staff are interacting with customers.

I was waiting in line and the female working Friday afternoon (26 September) ignored me twice by helping two customers who were in line after me. The guy working with her also ignored me by helping other customers after me. After I confronted the employee and asked her why they ignored me as if I am A manikin? Due to her poor response I immediately left their store. VERY SAD I was there to purchase 20 Pints of gelato to give away and it would have been record breaking sales for them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!!!

This ice cream shop is a delight - from creamy ice cream on sticks to the choice to pick two flavors even in a small cup. They hand you a waffle coated in your choice of dark or milk chocolate. The salted caramel was really tasty, and the milk cans scattered around as décor gave the place such a quaint, old-time charm.

Shout-out to the tall guy who looks like Tom Brady. His customer service was so good I almost asked him to autograph my cone. For once, I didn’t feel like I was on the ice cream assembly line, pick a flavor and move, he actually made it an experience. Thanks, Tom Brady look-alike, my pistachio gelato tasted like victory because of you 🏆🙌✨

Gelataio has an array of wonderful flavors which gives me an excuse to visit often with different combinations. This time we ordered Hazelnuts, Amarena Cherry, Stracciatella, and Rose Lychee Raspberry. My favorite is still the Italian Hallmark: Stracciatella. Refreshing, light with just a hint of chocolate melting in your mouth.
This is by far the best gelato I've ever had. Highly recommend the mix of double chocolate and california pistachio. Although they don't provide samples, which would have been amazing, they are still worth it, best Gelato in California. Their waffle cones are great as well. Suggestions for fixing the sampling issues, I'd love to try other flavors maybe a sample tray for a few dollars could work as well.
