Local spot I come to after work sometimes. Nice rotating beers on tap, you can also purchase a 4 pack for $20. I wasn't the biggest fan of their food so I wouldn't recommend it. Just come for the booze! They also have beer flights

Such an amazing and laid back place to have a brew. Aaron greeted me, gave me a solid recommendation and sample for a west coast style IPA, and showed me amazing customer service. Spent my lunch break here and would 100% return! When scrolling through downtown stop in and you won’t be disappointed.

Waited until full then kicked us out because we had a dog. People next to us with a puppy on the bench and let them stay inside. We ordered just one beer but others with dog on bench people ordered food and beers. Let them go because they were spending more.

I saw a video of their San Carlos location, where a citizen was peacefully video recording on the public sidewalk, and they had the audacity to believe they were entitled to answers and entitled to tell another citizen to move off of the public sidewalk that does not belong to them and prevent the citizen from moving freely on the sidewalk. then like a big man baby they called the police or their daddy because the citizen didn’t want to listen to their directives. As a business owner or manager, there’s no such thing as bad exposure unless you make it bad and guys you made your place look bad!!!!

The butterfly wings hazy is the standout here ~ otherwise average beer. Very clean and modern location, friendly staff

I went into the bar to briefly talk to a bar customer who was sitting at the bar. A bartender by the name Casey asked me if i wanted a beer, I replied "No". Then she told me that if i wasnt buying anything I needed to leave. I didnt even sit down and use a chair. I have never in my life experienced anything like this, so I walked to the resturant next door and was telling people what I had just experienced and was told that another lady, also, was talked to just like this when she went inside the bar. I tried to call the owner Dereck to see if they only target females this way. However, he never returned my calls. This bar appears to be Pay Day only so I gave them one star for treatment of females.

Hapa’s is such a great addition to the lively San Carlos downtown area. Really solid beer selection, some non-beer options if beer is not specifically your thing, tasty food (the exact kind you’re looking to pair alongside a beer), really great staff, and a pretty big open-feeling space, especially when the weather is nice. Highly recommend.

Tasty beers, great vibe, and really nice/knowledgeable servers. The only knock is that the lights are really bright and it can be kind of noisy. If they'd install some dimmer switches and hang some stuff on the walls (to dampen the echoing) this place would be perfect.
