This was the best Thai food I ever had. It was sort of like Chinese style on the portion size of each dish it's sharing dish. Fried fish was my favorite it was very delicious, it's must have! It has sweetness to it, it balance out. The spicy fish soup was very spicy but it's spicily good! I asked medium spicy but it still pretty spicy so if you cannot handle the spiciness don't get medium level, get lower level for your comfort. The chicken was also pretty good, with their in house peanut dressing, paring very well together. I got the Chai Tea. Their food overall is great very delicious. The server is good, but little bit of English barrier but that's no issue at all that is also mean the food is good. And it was!

My favorite Thai place now. The service here is friendly and quick. And the food is top tier. The pad see ew and pad Thai are absolutely amazing. If I could eat here everyday I would.

I think if I lived in the area Isarn Garden would be my number one go to spot for Thai food. Everything is so darn flavorful and tasty. When you order the spicy level, it's actually spicy! My lips are always burning but I can't stop eating. So be careful which spice level you pick. My must order everytime is the Laos sausage, seafood salad and pad Thai. Service is quick and friendly too!

This place is not the easiest to find and park at. I had plans to meet up here with a couple of friends, and each of us got lost on the way. This place is tucked away in a small lot, so we all ended up getting rerouted and circled the block before either parking in the small lot, which only fits a few cars, or on the street nearby. Despite the small size of the lot and restaurant, there was a bit of a wait, as this place was packed for dinner on the weekend.I order my usual at Thai restaurants: eggplant with crispy tofu. The fried tofu was nicely spongy, so it absorbed a lot of flavour and the eggplant was juicy and not overcooked. The dish didn't come with rice, which is typical at about half of the Thai restaurants I've been to, and I was okay without it since I wasn't super hungry. The portion was kind of small, and if I'd been hungrier, I would've needed to order more food to get full, but since I wasn't too hungry, it worked out.

Good flavor food, and friendly service. Unfortunately when I ask for a high spice/heat level I never get it. Fortunately they have chiles in fish sauce which when added kicks things up a notch or two.Update: Recently we ordered spicey at a 3 out of 5 and got it. The 'heat' was perfect for me, a little too much for my wife, and might have 'killed' some folks ? Our favorite is the larb gai (chicken). It always has a nice flavor and good spice level.

The food was all very good, with fresh ingredients and large serving sizes. The fresh rolls with shrimp and cucumber salad were delicious! I had pumpkin curry with tofu and jasmine brown rice. My mom had the pad thai with pork. We both enjoyed the food. Everyone was very friendly.

This place is very authentic. Great fast service and Thailand ambiance inside the building. Staff is very hospitable and friendly. Food is super fresh and tasty. I will be back with family and friends. I order the Tom Ka soup with #4 spicy and it kicked my butt a little bit. My wife order steak with wide and thin noodles and it was super tasty and spicy. They have the best spring rolls I have ever tried w/ warmed peanut sauce.

Stopped by for a late lunch and was genuinely surprised that it was still busy around 2pm. I love that they have a parking lot because parking on the street on El Camino is not ideal. The menu was pretty extensive and they had a secret menu, as well as some lunch specials! Lunch specials run Monday through Friday from 11am-3pm with prices ranging from 13.5 to 15 each dish. The vibes inside the restaurant was super cute and it's good for both small and larger parties. I ordered the fish cake (11) appetizer and it was absolutely delicious! They did not over fry it and it was still juicy in each bite. Each patty was the size of a puck! I loved the sauce that came with it on the side that was topped with onions, cucumbers and peanuts. The crab fried rice was another gem and absolutely huge portions! It was more than enough for one person and I had leftovers. I love that it was almost an egg omelet that the rice was topped with and generous portions of crab that came with the rice. The seasoning was lacking on the rice however and wished they provided a side of fish sauce or a lime- something to give the rice a little umph. The pad kee mao was another generous portion with super silky noodles! I'm a sucker for good noodles and it was cooked perfectly here and not in chunks or hard. The only thing I would say is that it's pretty spicy - you can't tell from the looks of it, so just be aware if you are sensitive to spice like I am. It was a good balance of vegetables and pork, seasoned much better than the rice. Overall it was a good experience and the food wasn't bad at all. The place felt very authentic and had many dishes that I have never seen in other Thai restaurants before. If I'm in the area, I would love to swing by and try other things.

I previously ordered takeout and had a great meal. However, when I decided to order again, I was greatly disappointed. The Pad Thai lacked flavor, I won't be ordering from them again in the future.

Amazing authentic Thai! San Carlos is usually a town you drive past in between bigger cities like San Mateo and Redwood City. If you blink, you might just miss the parking lot to this unassuming little restaurant on the infamous El Camino Real. Many Thai places don't usually have Nam Khao Salad (crispy rice) on the menu, so when I see it, I always give it a try. Isarn's nam khao did not disappoint! It's refreshing, it's crispy, it's delicious! Warning - it is spicy even for the spice lovers like myself. Those Thai chilis are no joke! I love it!
